Guess who’s back?!?

We’re happy to announce Stephanie Armstrong will be coming back for lessons on Saturdays! After a couple of years off, she’s looking forward to getting back into the lesson swing of things at Ace.

For those who haven’t met Steph yet, you’ll get to meet her this Saturday. Excited to have you back, lady!

It is with a sad heart we announce the passing of Jeffrey BlueSlate Dahmer.

Whether he passed over rainbow bridge or through the gates of hell, only he will know.

In all seriousness, this turkey had more personality in his angry horn than 90% of the people I meet.

I will miss watching him having opinions on our shoelace colors, harassing horses, participating in dress up at camps, stalking the neighbors, flirting with his own reflection in vehicles,
and-my personal favorite- freaking out our equine vets.

You either loved him or hated him. He was a character. He was an Ace Staple. He lived as he died- being a royal, persickety, feisty pain in my ass.

I will miss him.

Just an update for everyone on this first frigid morning of winter-

Horses are doing well in the cold temps! Everyone is warm under their blankets and tank heaters are working perfectly! We’re monitoring water intake and have added loose salt to all grain to help encourage drinking.

If you come out- the farm is plowed but icy in spots-please be careful. I have spare crampons in the lounge if needed.

Happy first birthday, GusGus! 🥳🥳🥳One of the best, if not THE best surprises ever!

From looking like the “printer ran out of ink” to full bay roan glory. You’re as sweet as you are beautiful. I cannot wait to see what you become!!

ATTENTION BOARDERS/LEASERS! Fall vet say is Friday, October 10th around 11:00am.

Horses will be receiving flu/rhino boosters and will have teeth checks. Any horses that need dental floating will be scheduled at the next first available appointment.

Dewormer- QuestPlus for the fall is required to ensure our herd health is in tip top shape! Please let me know if you plan on purchasing and deworming your horses.

If there is any minor concerns or issues you would like Dr. Margaret Breisch to address, please let me know so I can add it to our list. She will do a brief exam on boarder horses that include vitals and weight taping and discussions on feed regimens if neccessary.

If you can not make this appointment, a $15 hold fee per horse will be implemented. If you’d like to schedule your own appointment, please call or text docs direct office line at +1 (608) 730-5665.
