🧡🐾 Some pretty special things have been happening around here!
Mom and I picked up our badges to volunteer at Samaritan Hospital and the Cancer Center! We’ve also been making hospice visits and spending time with the residents at Regency.
Mom says it means a lot to be able to share a little joy with people who might need it. I’m just happy to be there, offer some cuddles, make a few new friends, and hopefully bring a smile or two. If my wagging tail or big golden face can make someone’s day better, then I think I’m right where I’m supposed to be. 🥰
Mom keeps trying to train me new tricks - she said people love when I give them high 5 and thinks I should keep learning more tricks and tasks. Her latest is trying to get me to help with the laundry. That doesn’t seem like a very fun trick, so I’m pretending I no longer know the command, “take it”. Now she is starting my training from the beginning for that task and that just means more treats for me. 😉
