On my way to the groomer. I’m not sure why - mom is always saying how handsome I am. But I have to admit, I do enjoy hanging out with the girls. They fuss over me, tell me I’m a good boy, and give me attention. I kinda like the bath, brushing, and general pampering too. Hmmm…maybe this whole grooming thing is just an excuse for the ladies to spend time with me… whatever the reason, I’ll be a good boy like I always am. 🐶❤️

I had my ACVO Service Animal Volunteer Eye Screening today at the Animal Eye Doctor in Beaverton. This is a great program which is free for dogs doing service to make sure we can see well to do our jobs. The doctor said I have great eyes and gave me this new bandana. Mom said I was a good boy and got me a pup cup on the way home. 🐶🧡🦴

I have decided I would like a cat.
Specifically, this cat.

I have tried everything to make this friendship happen. I have been studying Mom very closely. She walks up to the cat, gently pets him, and he likes it. Revolutionary.
So naturally, I tried the same technique.
I carefully approached… lifted my paw… and gave him a nice, loving pat.
He did not like it.
In fact, he acted like I had committed some sort of offense?? Sir, I am PETTING you. This is how friendship works.
I even tried again and again, and he still gave me that look. You know the one. The “absolutely not” look.
At this point, I’m starting to think there are different rules for me.
I remain committed to this relationship, but the cat is making it very difficult to reach his level.
I don’t understand cats. 🐈‍⬛ 🐶
