Before and after on a touch up to an older euro a client did himself. Re-whiten and touch up on the antler color of a stud mule deer.

I had the opportunity to restore a mount for a woman recently. This was a buck her father shot back in the 70’s. Her father had lacquered the horns and screwed them to a board.

The client wanted something that looked nicer, but was torn between a new plaque and the board her father used. So, with her permission, I cut her father’s board into a custom plaque and it turned out awesome!

I had the pleasure of cleaning an Aoudad. Very cool animal. The skull was a honeycomb.

I wanted to share how I store skinned heads. Immediately after I skin them I wrap in paper towels then pour water over it to fully saturate the towels. Then I wrap in a garbage bag and tape it up neatly to seal in the water. The skull below sat like this for two weeks before I whitened it. Had it not been wrapped it would have made it tough to achieve the bright white color.
