Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dog Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about animal care, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional grooming services.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform breed-specific and custom grooming services (bathing, brushing, trimming, clipping, styling)
Safely handle dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments
Maintain a clean and organized grooming workspace
Assess pet coat and skin conditions and report any concerns
Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming requests
Ensure all tools and equipment are sanitized and properly maintained
Provide a positive, low-stress experience for pets
Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years of professional dog grooming experience
Knowledge of breed standards and grooming techniques
Ability to handle dogs safely and compassionately
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
