We posted these puppies yesterday, and we’re surprised to say they’re still here…

Usually when puppies show up, our community moves fast. The post gets shared, people reach out, and homes start lining up.

This time, that hasn’t happened. No calls, no emails, no applications.

And these puppies aren’t asking for much. They’re at the age where they should be learning about couches, backyards, and all the little things that help them grow into confident, well-adjusted dogs.

Instead, they’re spending those weeks in a shelter.

We’re looking for foster homes willing to bring a couple of tiny puppies in for a short time. If you have the space and heart to help, please reach out to our Shelter Manager Allison LaBorde at [email protected]

And if you’re not in a position to foster, a share goes a long way. These pups deserve the chance to grow up in a home❤️🐾

The Aiken County Animal Shelter is participating in Pick Me SC!
This is a statewide adoption event as we band together to try and save as many lives as possible at the toughest time of year.
All kennels are full!
Adopters please bring leashes and collars, cat carriers or we will have for small fee.
Great homes required!

Application, home visit, and rehoming fee mandatory. 36 hours old, housetrained, very quiet, stays with you wherever you go (literally). Good with other pets. May get bigger, may get smaller - depends on your current household. Fine with children, but probably allergenic. Doesn't eat or drink, just collects. Serious inquiries only!! (Foot for size reference.)

For those who don't know what a fundraiser is, a person/business/entity offers to sell something/product/food/services for a night/day/week and then they DONATE a percentage of their sales from that timeframe to a designated non-profit. In this instance, a Pampered Chef Consultant reached out to me and offered a 10-15% donation to Einstein's Angels, based on sales from a 7-day PC event. I am, in no way, associated with PC except for this fundraiser. I, personally, get nothing out of it unless I PERSONALLY buy something from the event. I'm not recruiting people to sell PC. I am not selling franchise packages, or however this works, or asking people to buy anything past this event. YET, a "neighbor," Kladivko, reported me on Nextdoor and got my profile shutdown BECAUSE I WAS HAVING A FUNDRAISER for my dog rescue!!! If anyone in Aiken knows this jerk, please feel free to explain to him how FUNDRAISING works!!!! 😡
