For those who don't know what a fundraiser is, a person/business/entity offers to sell something/product/food/services for a night/day/week and then they DONATE a percentage of their sales from that timeframe to a designated non-profit. In this instance, a Pampered Chef Consultant reached out to me and offered a 10-15% donation to Einstein's Angels, based on sales from a 7-day PC event. I am, in no way, associated with PC except for this fundraiser. I, personally, get nothing out of it unless I PERSONALLY buy something from the event. I'm not recruiting people to sell PC. I am not selling franchise packages, or however this works, or asking people to buy anything past this event. YET, a "neighbor," Kladivko, reported me on Nextdoor and got my profile shutdown BECAUSE I WAS HAVING A FUNDRAISER for my dog rescue!!! If anyone in Aiken knows this jerk, please feel free to explain to him how FUNDRAISING works!!!! 😡

I had no idea Pampered Chef's collection of items had gotten so big! While one of the 1st items you see is over $400 (yikes), there are dozens of things under $20! Einstein's Angels can earn 15% of all proceeds once the party has reached $600 in orders! Party is online through 6/2.

Took a lazy Sunday afternoon nap. Einstein was there. He was cuddled up with an armadillo. (Apparently, my rescue has taken an odd turn...) I grabbed my phone to get a picture, but thousands of apps were open and I couldn't get to the camera. Every time I looked, another dog piled on top of them ruining the picture I couldn't take. But he just kept sleeping with his arm draped over his friend.

It's been 4 years since I lost him and I still miss him every day. 💔
