Beanjamin is recovering from his surgery. I have to keep him as “quiet” as possible and confined to a small space for a few weeks while he heals.

*Update, I had Beanjamin evaluated today by my wonderful veterinarian Dr Weiner and he will be having his hernia surgery on Monday.

I’ve been a little quiet the last several weeks. It’s been busy and we had a major loss of most of Vivia’s litter that ended up with an emergency c-section on 7/21/26. She had 6 beautiful precious kittens but only 2 ended up surviving. Beanjamin is still in guarded health with an umbilical hernia that will need further surgery. If you are the praying type send prayers for him or good vibes. So far he is thriving and cute as a button! Cocoa Bean is a little beautiful Diva!

Meet:
Cocoa Bean, chocolate mackerel tabby longhair straight coat female

Beanjamin, blue mackerel tabby curly longhair male

Pawsabilities Dreamsicle “Dallas” had a great TICA show in Gray Summit, MO last weekend. We appreciate being called back to 5 finals in a highly competitive kitten class with count around 63 per ring.

Dallas also found himself a great show home! It was great meeting his new “meowmy”.

It was my first time attending a show at Purina Farms and it was a very nice facility with lots of space. The PracTICAl cat club put on a really great show and handed out an awesome goody bag to exhibitors. Remind me to fly next time rather than drive though lol!

Saturday the Northeast Region celebrated the 2025-26 show season winners. The Banquet was held at the Sheraton Springfield/Monarch Place in Springfield, Massachusetts. The food, celebration and company was wonderful. I appreciate all the people that worked hard to make the celebration nice.

Thank you to Heather and the NitroKatz Crew, Jennypurz Turkish Angoras and The Northeast Region for sponsoring the Pawsabilities kittens and cats awards.

Pawsabilities Dreamsicle “Dallas” had a wonderful first show at the NECCO TICA Cat Show in Springfield, MA this weekend.

Since I was going to attend the Northeast Regional Banquet to celebrate the 2025-26 show season, I decided it would be a great opportunity to see if Dallas would like showing and he took to it with ease!

He got called back to 6 out of 12 finals and even had a Best allbreed kitten out of 61 kittens. Thank you to all the judges that called him back.

Dallas took a short trip with me yesterday to meet his sister’s new family and then we visited my mom at memory care where he did great on the TrePonti harness while visiting the memory care unit.

He did wonderful for the 40 minute car ride to and from as well as the hour and fifteen minute visit.

He’s missing his siblings a little today but I gave him some extra love and attention.
