Okay everyone like I thought would happen we are getting a lot of interest in the baby axolotls! We do have a ton that hatched! Impossible to count them all right now lol and we know they won't all make it to size. So we do want to keep it fair. It will be approx 6 to 8 weeks until they are big enough to go to their new homes but we are starting our wait list. As we get closer to time we will contact everyone on the wait list in order and take small deposits to secure your specific lotl!!
*also special note. A portion of each axolotl sale will be going to help a local family. This family lost EVERYTHING due to a fire including their amazing, smart, beautiful 4 year old baby girl. Dad is now paralyzed and wanting to get back to as normal life as possible with his wife and other 2 children. The problem is right now he can't go anywhere without contacting ems for transport. So we would like to help them in their journey to obtaining a wheelchair accessible van for the family 💕
So you're getting a new friend and helping a family get back to living. 💗💗 this is what we are all about! Educating and helping our reptile and human community grow around us! ♥️

Snakes, lotls, and eggs oh my! 🐍🐢🦎🪺

Well yesterday was baby day at the lair! Not only did we have the baby snakes pip, the other 3 are super close, and look lots of LOTLS everywhere!!!

Lots of excitement!! Our first baby snake has pipped!! And the others are quickly catching up!

Our baby crestie we hatched "kaida" has outgrown the hatchling rack and enjoying his first little enclosure!

And in approx 4 to 6 days axolotls should start hatching!!

Lots of excitement at the Lair today!! Our homeschool biology class was a success as our eggs hit 60 days and were cut! 4 healthy babies inside working their way out of the egg! And axolotl eggs found! This is what it's all about, the experience, the learning and I mean look at them babies 😍🥰

I know I know yall hear crickets chirping over here. It's been very hectic with new friends joining the program and with eggs dropping and babies hatching on top of some medical needs that needed attending too! But guys check it all out!

We love being able to help these amazing animals! Everyone meet Asha (meaning new hope). Her original owner had abandoned her and poor girl has refused to eat since(now a few months) so we took her in gave her a nice shed bath helped her remove some stuck shed and eyecaps and got her to take a small meal! We have high hopes for miss Asha and are so glad we were able to help her out and have her join our crew! She's such a sweet girl! Let's keep up the positive vibes for her and if you know a reptile in need please don't hesitate to reach out!!

Our babies are doing great! And oh they are just so cute and fun to watch!! Stay tuned this week the kids have an assignment to start making educational videos and with some of those videos will be prizes, contests, and deals! So stay tuned!!
