2021 Summer Garden
Here's Episode 1 of Summer Cooking on the Ranch with Julie S**o aka "Shorty"

The garden is really taking off! Today I picked fresh green zucchini! Since we have gone to a healthy lifestyle a few years back we really utilize our garden!

Zucchini Bake
I made homemade pasta sauce with mushrooms. Gathered some of my favorite cheeses from one of my favorite local Petaluma Creamery. Grilled the zucchini spread pasta sauce and cheese baked 375 15 min.

Now when I sink my teeth into this delicious cheese it reminds me of living on the Humbolt County Coast.

As a young girl I would love eating this cheese with crackers on the weekends riding along side the Eel River back to the barn after working cattle each day as a young girl... Such fond memories..It's funny how something as simple as a piece of cheese brings you back to childhood all over again.... Shorty
