More Monday Musings with a Doo Dad:

I suppose this quote can be taken differently depending on your attitude.

"What have you done for me lately?" is how I might take it if I'm feeling underappreciated. If this were said to me in the context of a criticism ("hey, what you did back then doesn't mean anything today"), I'd probably feel pretty down after hearing it.

But, that's not how I'm choosing to take it today. Today, I hear this as a call to action: "If you want to win, you have to TRY to win every day."

Trying is the key. You have the opportunity to win something every single day, you just have to keep trying.

I think that means showing up and doing the best you can muster day after day. You may not always hit a home run, but it's an automatic strike out if you don't even try.
