Today Trinket, Charming and Parker went for their first kitty shots! Trinket wasn't too impressed by my driving and complained most of the way. Charming was more chill, but I swear I heard him say "Finally..." when we got back home. While at the vet, Parker (the kitten we found under the dumpster) was adopted by one of the vet techs!! He's such a good looking cat, it's no wonder she couldn't resist his Charms.

Little dude is trying, that's for sure. Kinda feel like he needs a little crash helmet or something. We need a safe, relaxed environment for Flounder, not our "full of crazy dogs" house. If you would like to give Flounder a safe spot to land, please contact us!

We knew Flounder had issues when we brought him in, but it's worse than we thought. We will be getting him into the vet this week to see what they say. "Wobbly Cat Syndrome," technically known as Cerebellar Hypoplasia thankfully doesn't get worse, but it will take a special adopter to help this little guy through life. We will keep you updated.

Things to know if you adopt from us:
- We will do a home inspection "But All Kind doesn't, why do you?" They need to move 100x the animals that we do, we can afford to be picky about who our animals go to.
- We will not adopt a Pyrenees to an apartment. First your entire apartment would be covered in floof, but more importantly we try to ensure that the home has what the animal needs. Pyrenees need space and big yards, they aren't apartment dwellers.
- If you have an existing pet, we will check to see how they respond to the animal you want to adopt. If it doesn't appear to be a good fit, sorry, no go...
- "Why is your suggested donation for dogs $150, it's a lot cheaper at All Kind". They have a LOT more funding than we do, each animal we take in costs AT LEAST $300 for medical. Some are in the thousands. Donations do not always cover it, the last 3 animals we took in for medical were not fully covered. If you can't afford our suggested donation, can you afford their future medical needs?
- "How come you never have ###xx breeds?" All of our animals come from the streets. We help those that need it, we don't only help the premium designer dogs.
- We are NOT professional dog trainers. We try to train the basics, but some animals may have quirks that will continue to need work.

Thank you everyone who came out to see us! We had a lot of fun meeting everyone, and talking to you about these awesome animals. We ended up taking several applications, and will be going through them shortly (after a nap). Our biggest thrill, was that Stevie our blind cat, received TWO applications!! Violet drew a lot of attention, but sadly no applications. Glazed had an application, but it was withdrawn after they adopted a different dog from elsewhere. Luna was a little nervous but did pretty good, though no applications for her either. There was a lot of interest in the kittens, but I mean let's be for real, they're kittens and they are adorable.... unfair advantage!
