The 4 cats which we spayed/neutered and vaccinated yesterday came with a bill. The worst part of TNVR is trying to sustain it financially, it's not cheap. And while it's not cheap, it needs to be done to prevent colonies from exploding. We could use some help with the bill, if you're willing.

Our little snake bite survivor is doing really good. He's not showing any signs of infection, and is healing up really good. He has full use of his leg, and is able to jump up and down from the shelves with no problem. And guys, for a stray, this dude is very sweet. If you'd like to adopt, send us a message!

We took 4 cats in this morning for spay/neuter from two of our colonies we feed. The volunteers at each colony caught the cats for us whole using our traps. Big round of applause for those awesome volunteers! And speaking of awesome, while I was dropping the cats off one of our followers was there and gave us a donation! Thank you!!

Hobbles bloodwork didn't show any signs of venom, which is awesome. His wound was treated, antibiotics given along with some pain meds, and now he's resting in his own personal condo. We will let him heal up for about a week, and then get him neutered. He's fairly friendly for a stray, and has let me lift him and give him some scratches.

As always, we could use some help with the bill. If you're able to donate, that would be awesome.

Update: looking like a possible snake bite. Running tests first. Skin tissue is in good shape though, so thats a bonus. Leg is swollen a bit, but not as bad as we first feared. And the spot on his side, was thankfully just blood, no wound.

Heading to the emergency vet with a cat that we just picked up in north Abilene. The cat has a severe front paw injury and a gash on its side. The paw is too graphic to show the cat right now.

Bobby has a furever family!

This family has been waiting weeks for Bobby to get clear of his ring worm. They fell in love when they saw the video of him playing, and have been in contact with us ever since. Munchie, formally known as Blossom, has graduated to a private suite from the nursery. He had to get a name change, since we discovered she was a he... So now he can hang out with the people, and the big barky things that keep staring at him. Tonight, Munchie will get to play with all of Sandy's kittens in the playpen!
