Next week our Airbnb chapter comes to an end and honestly, our wallets are READY 😂

We’ve been so blessed to find a home in a great neighborhood with a beautiful yard for the dogs, which is exactly what we needed right now. I’m sure they’ll miss all the different places we’ve stayed, but we’re excited to finally settle in and start this next chapter.
And let’s be real… who doesn’t love being able to actually afford life in this economy 😅

The puppy/adolescent “uglies” are very real 🫣

Omen then vs. now at 3 years old.

You always hear people talk about certain bloodlines maturing slowly, usually referring to drive. But with Omen, it’s been the opposite. His mind, drive, and temperament have always been solid,it was his body that just needed time to catch up and fill out.

That awkward in-between stage can be humbling, but it’s a normal part of development,especially with males who take longer to fully mature.

If your pup is in that phase right now, give them grace. Focus on proper nutrition, consistency, and patience. Trust the process, it really does come together.

When you purchase a dog from a reputable breeder, you typically sign a contract 📝

Every contract is different, but it is very common to see agreements on -
◾️Returning/rehoming policy
◾️Spay/neuter requirements and timeline
◾️Requirements for breeding
◾️Making sure you understand the breeds needs physically/mentally regarding exercise , training, enrichment etc. ,
◾️Responsible pet ownership
◾️Buyer agreement to maintain contact/update breeder periodically
◾️Right of breeder to reclaim the dog if contract terms are violated

Breeders may also add in their health guarantee into this contract

It’s always a good idea to revisit that contract from time to time. It exists first and foremost to protect the dog, then the breeder, and the owner. Re-reading it ensures you’re still complying with the terms, honoring the legality of the agreement, and continuing to be a responsible, ethical dog owner.

Your breeder only wants what's best for you and your dog ❤️
