The proof is in the photo. Horses don't need a high sugar, high carb diet. I switched my 20 year old OTTB from a senior feed to a low sugar, low carb forage-based diet recently. And just look at the new hoof growth above the event line! Much tighter hoof capsule which means tighter lamina.

Happy birthday, Rittle! She really enjoys her monthly bodywork sessions, even when the real feel is only in the teens. We are such good buddies by the end, and she is ready to rock and roll again with her mama!

I just pulled shoes off of my horse that was recently diagnosed with navicular to rehab him barefoot. Next step...bodywork. He has been compensating to take pressure off of his front feet, and I know just what I can do to help him feel much better and assist him to move correctly. Stay tuned for updates to see how Im getting him back to soundness as a riding horse.

Biosecurity is a top priority for me to protect your horses and mine. I disinfect my shoes and change clothes in between visiting farms. I wash my hands thoroughly before touching your horse. If your horse is not quite right or has a fever, PLEASE reschedule. Let's keep the horse community safe!
