MEEKO IS GOING HOME! 🎉 Community cat Meeko first came to us in April suffering terribly. She was extremely unwell and needed IV fluids, intensive treatment, and around the clock care that only a hospital could provide. After spending about a week hospitalized, Meeko came to us to continue her recovery in comfort and safety.

Today, we’re so happy to share that Meeko is back to full health and ready to return to the community she knows and loves, something we know she cannot wait for…”get me out of here” she says!

Helping sick and injured community cats is at the heart of what PAWS Bangkok does. Being able to give cats like Meeko a second chance, and safely return them to the people who care for them, is incredibly rewarding and only possible because of your support.

MEEKO กำลังจะได้กลับบ้านแล้ว! 🎉

น้องแมวชุมชน Meeko เข้ามาหาเราเมื่อเดือนเมษายนที่ผ่านมาในสภาพที่น่าเป็นห่วงมาก เธอป่วยหนักและจำเป็นต้องได้รับสารน้ำทางเส้นเลือด การรักษาอย่างเข้มข้น และการดูแลตลอด 24 ชั่วโมง ซึ่งมีเพียงโรงพยาบาลเท่านั้นที่สามารถดูแลได้ หลังจากพักรักษาตัวอยู่ที่โรงพยาบาลประมาณ 1 สัปดาห์ Meeko จึงได้มาพักฟื้นต่อกับเราในสถานที่ที่ปลอดภัยและอบอุ่น

วันนี้ เราดีใจมากที่ได้บอกทุกคนว่า Meeko กลับมาแข็งแรงสมบูรณ์แล้ว และพร้อมจะกลับไปยังชุมชนที่เธอรู้จักและรัก — ซึ่งเราเชื่อว่าเธอรอวันนี้แทบไม่ไหวแล้ว… “พาฉันออกไปจากที่นี่ที!” 😹

🎉 I SURVIVED! 🎉 Hip hip hooray for Allen, another brave little FIP survivor! 🐾

Just a few years ago, Allen would not have had a chance. Before 2020, a diagnosis of Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) was almost always a death sentence for kittens and cats. We lost so many precious lives to this devastating disease, and the heartbreak was endless.

But everything changed when we became one of the first shelters in Thailand to begin treating FIP with the life saving GS medication. Our very first success story was a tiny calico kitten named Puff in 2020 and since then, we have fought for every single life possible.

Allen is alive today because we refused to give up.

FIP treatment is long, intensive, and expensive, but it works. Thanks to our incredible superstar vet, Dr. Pup, we now see kittens once facing death go on to live happy, healthy lives. We never turn away an FIP case when we have space because we know these cats deserve a chance to live.

Allen fought hard.
He endured injections, medications, checkups, and weeks of care. And today… he is a survivor. ❤️

UPDATE ON LITTLE SPLOSH ❤️ 10 days ago we shared the story of this tiny kitten who arrived with us desperately sick, suffering from severe cat flu and a painful eye infection. At the time, things were very touch and go for this little boy. We’re so happy to share that Splosh is now looking and feeling a whole lot better! 🐾

Thanks to the incredible care of our wonderful vet, Dr Pup, Splosh is now out of the woods and well on the way to recovery. He’s been receiving intensive treatment, lots of rest, good food, and plenty of love and this little fighter has truly amazed us with his strength. ❤️

Cases like Splosh’s remind us just how important emergency rescue and medical support is for vulnerable community cats. Without help, kittens like him simply wouldn’t stand a chance.

❤️ อัปเดตน้อง Splosh ❤️

เมื่อ 10 วันที่แล้ว เราได้แชร์เรื่องราวของลูกแมวตัวน้อยที่ถูกพามาหาเราในสภาพป่วยหนัก ด้วยอาการไข้หวัดแมวขั้นรุนแรงและดวงตาติดเชื้ออย่างเจ็บปวด ตอนนั้นอาการของเจ้าตัวเล็กน่าเป็นห่วงมาก และแทบไม่รู้ว่าจะรอดหรือไม่

วันนี้เราดีใจมากที่ได้บอกทุกคนว่า Splosh ดูดีขึ้นและอาการดีขึ้นมากแล้ว! 🐾

ต้องขอบคุณการดูแลอย่างยอดเยี่ยมจากสัตวแพทย์ของเรา Dr Pup ตอนนี้ Splosh ผ่านพ้นช่วงอันตรายมาได้แล้ว และกำลังฟื้นตัวได้อย่างดี เขาได้รับการรักษาอย่างใกล้ชิด ได้พักผ่อน ได้กินอาหารดี ๆ และได้รับความรักอย่างเต็มที่ นักสู้ตัวน้อยคนนี้ทำให้พวกเราทึ่งกับความเข้มแข็งของเขาจริง ๆ ❤️

This is Amy founder and manager of PAWS Bangkok. Last week, I had urgent shoulder surgery after tearing it from years of lifting cats, cages, supplies, food…whatever needed to be done to keep PAWS Bangkok going. For the first time in a long time, I’ve been forced to recover from my bed instead of helping the cats who depend on us.

And honestly… I’m scared.

This year has been one of the hardest we have ever faced. The economy has affected everyone, and since the recent troubles in Iran, donations and support have dropped dramatically. Every month has become a battle just to keep our doors open and pay for food, medicine, rescues, sterilisations, and emergency vet care.

I spend so many sleepless nights wondering how to keep PAWS Bangkok alive. Because this isn’t just an organisation to me. These cats are my family, and PAWS Bangkok is my life.

They are injured street cats like Train Kitty, rushed to emergency surgery. Abandoned kittens like Cowboy, crying alone in drains. Cats who would suffer and die unseen if PAWS Bangkok wasn’t there to protect them.

People tell me to rest while I recover, but my heart never rests when so many lives depend on us surviving another month.

I hate asking for help, but right now we truly need it.

HOLLYWOOD SEEKS A RETIREMENT HOME 🏠❤️
Back in 2015, we rescued Hollywood from a Bangkok temple where the cats endured unimaginable hardship. Now at least 12 years young, this beautiful senior girl was part of one of PAWS Bangkok’s very first large-scale rescues. Longtime supporters may remember this unforgettable queen. ✨

After spending years in our shelter, Hollywood finally found love in a foster fail home during the pandemic. Sadly, her adopter later passed away, and Hollywood went to live with a friend. Now he has left Thailand and did not take her with him, leaving Hollywood homeless once again.

Despite her age, Hollywood is healthy, happy, and still full of life. 💕 She may not enjoy being carried, but she loves curling up beside you and keeping you company. Once she feels safe, her sweet and sociable personality shines.

After everything she’s been through, we don’t want her spending her golden years without a home. She deserves a quiet home, a soft bed, and someone to love her for the rest of her days. 👑 You can meet Hollywood anytime in our adoption room at Asok Pethouse Cat Cafe.

ฮอลลีวูดกำลังมองหาบ้านพักคนชรา 🏠❤️
ย้อนกลับไปในปี 2015 เราได้ช่วยเหลือฮอลลีวูดจากวัดแห่งหนึ่งในกรุงเทพฯ ที่ซึ่งแมวเหล่านั้นต้องทนทุกข์ทรมานอย่างแสนสาหัส ปัจจุบันฮอลลีวูดมีอายุอย่างน้อย 12 ปีแล้ว เธอเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการช่วยเหลือครั้งใหญ่ครั้งแรกๆ ของ PAWS Bangkok ผู้สนับสนุนที่ติดตามมานานอาจจำราชินีผู้แสนวิเศษนี้ได้ ✨

หลังจากใช้เวลาหลายปีในศูนย์พักพิงของเรา ในที่สุดฮอลลีวูดก็พบรักในบ้านอุปถัมภ์ในช่วงการระบาดใหญ่ น่าเศร้าที่ผู้รับเลี้ยงของเธอเสียชีวิตในภายหลัง และฮอลลีวูดไปอยู่กับเพื่อน ตอนนี้เขาได้ย้ายออกจากประเทศไทยแล้วและไม่ได้พาเธอไปด้วย ทำให้ฮอลลีวูดไร้บ้านอีกครั้ง

ถึงแม้จะมีอายุมากแล้ว แต่ฮอลลีวูดก็มีสุขภาพดี มีความสุข และยังคงเต็มไปด้วยชีวิตชีวา 💕 เธออาจไม่ชอบให้ถูกอุ้ม แต่เธอชอบขดตัวอยู่ข้างๆ คุณและอยู่เป็นเพื่อน เมื่อเธอรู้สึกปลอดภัย บุคลิกที่อ่อนหวานและเข้ากับคนง่ายของเธอก็จะเปล่งประกาย

หลังจากที่เธอผ่านอะไรมามากมาย เราไม่อยากให้เธอใช้ช่วงบั้นปลายชีวิตอย่างไร้บ้าน เธอสมควรได้รับบ้านที่เงียบสงบ เตียงนุ่มๆ และใครสักคนที่รักเธอไปตลอดชีวิต 👑

UPDATE ON MISS C 🐾 Back in 2019, a community cat was rushed to us in terrible, near death condition. She was pregnant, suffering from a severe infection, and only days away from dying. Her body naturally aborted the babies that had sadly gone septic inside her, and over the next two months she slowly recovered under the loving care of our vet, Dr Pup.

Once she was strong enough, Miss C returned to her community, healthy, spayed and vaccinated and ever since, we’ve been so grateful to receive updates from the guardian angel who brought her to us. Every now and then, we get a photo of her doing her rounds through the local sois where she proudly prowls.

Now, 7 years later, Miss C looks absolutely amazing.

Without PAWS Bangkok, Miss C would have died a painful and lonely death on the streets. Instead, she is out there living the life every community cat deserves - safe, healthy, and free from the endless cycle of kitten reproduction.

Thank you to our community for supporting us and helping us continue to be there for the street cats of Bangkok. We truly couldn’t do it without you. ❤️

อัปเดตเรื่องราวของมิสซี 🐾 ย้อนกลับไปในปี 2019 แมวชุมชนตัวหนึ่งถูกนำตัวส่งมาหาเราในสภาพที่ย่ำแย่ใกล้ตาย เธอตั้งท้องและติดเชื้ออย่างรุนแรง และเหลือเวลาอีกเพียงไม่กี่วันก็จะตาย ร่างกายของเธอได้แท้งลูกออกมาเองตามธรรมชาติ เนื่องจากลูกในท้องของเธอติดเชื้อ และในช่วงสองเดือนต่อมา เธอค่อยๆ ฟื้นตัวภายใต้การดูแลอย่างเอาใจใส่ของสัตวแพทย์ของเรา ดร.พัพ

เมื่อเธอแข็งแรงขึ้น มิสซีก็กลับคืนสู่ชุมชนของเธอในสภาพที่แข็งแรง ทำหมัน และฉีดวัคซีนแล้ว และตั้งแต่นั้นมา เราก็รู้สึกขอบคุณอย่างยิ่งที่ได้รับข่าวสารจากนางฟ้าผู้พิทักษ์ที่พาเธอมาหาเรา ทุกๆ ครั้งที่เราได้เห็นรูปถ่ายของเธอเดินเล่นไปตามซอยต่างๆ ในละแวกบ้านอย่างภาคภูมิใจ

ตอนนี้ 7 ปีต่อมา มิสซีดูดีมาก

หากไม่มี PAWS กรุงเทพฯ มิสซีคงต้องตายอย่างเจ็บปวดและโดดเดี่ยวบนท้องถนน แต่ตอนนี้เธอกำลังใช้ชีวิตอย่างที่แมวชุมชนทุกตัวสมควรได้รับ นั่นคือ ปลอดภัย มีสุขภาพดี และเป็นอิสระจากวงจรการแพร่พันธุ์ของลูกแมวที่ไม่สิ้นสุด
