First visit to an indoor dog café! ☕🐶

New places mean new learning opportunities. The outing was all about settling in despite the noise, other dogs/people around, and all the exciting smells.

With the space being much smaller than they’re used to, treats had to be given thoughtfully. Calling each dog by name before rewarding helped keep everyone calm, focused, and prevented any unnecessary chaos around food.

By the end of the outing, some of the dogs had switched off completely and were happily lying down, taking it all in. That’s the kind of progress we love to see—not just excited dogs, but dogs that know how to relax wherever life takes them. 🐾

It’s easy to focus when nothing is happening.
The real training begins when there are distractions. Today we worked on keeping attention on me while people behind were making sounds to get their attention/taking videos of us. Calm focus is a skill that grows with practice. 🐾
