A non-profit dog shelter devoted to caring for rescued Singapore Specials and abandoned dogs. Stray rescue in Singapore is a long tiring journey.

Oasis Second Chance Animal Shelter (OSCAS) is a registered charity and non-profit dog shelter that has been in existence since 2006. Over the years, the shelter has rescued mainly stray or abandoned dogs from the streets or from being culled. About a hundred Singapore Specials currently call this shelter home and needless to say, it can only be sustained with help from trusty volunteers and kind donations or sponsorships. Sleepy Sunday with Poco.

One year ago, Poco found her forever home, and what a beautiful life she’s living!

Her wonderful adopters recently celebrated her gotcha-versary with some of her old kennel mates, sharing the love and joy she has brought into their lives.

Poco has found her home where she has grown in confidence enjoying outdoor adventures then gets to sleep peacefully on her humans’ bed, safe, loved, and right where she belongs.

This is what every shelter dog deserves. A warm bed, a loving family, and a place to call home forever.

Sass is timeless, sweetness never gets old, and love has no expiry date. ❤️

Age has only made Truffle more beautiful, sweeter and sassier! This gorgeous black beauty came into our care when Animal Lovers League closed, along with her three equally sweet sisters, Tulip, Tanya and Tora. Sadly, all four girls are still waiting for their forever homes.

They may be seniors, but as Truffle would tell you, they’re not old… they’re limited edition! With plenty of love to give and personalities that only get better with age, these girls are proof that growing older doesn't mean growing any less wonderful.

Senior dogs have so much more love left to give. They deserve the chance to spend their golden years surrounded by comfort, kindness and a family to call their own — being someone's very special best friend.

Starring AJAX & COLA: THE GREAT GRASS RUN ESCAPE!

Enjoy some canine detective energy with Cola and just in it for the fun energy with Ajax!

Off to the grass run they go, where Cola demonstrates her very special belly-sliding technique, followed by some serious DIG DIG DIG action. Ajax is just there for the fun, and before long, the zoomies officially take over!

Although we have to question the artistic direction of that final pose… butt… these two are adorable either way!

BUT BEHIND ALL THE FUN, WE HAVE A BIG MISSION.

Ajax and Cola are just 2 of the 110 dogs in our care, and right now, we desperately need your help to keep caring for every single one of them.

OUR FUNDRAISING GOAL IS $500,000 BY THE END OF THIS YEAR.

We've raised just $50,000 so far. That means we're only 10% of the way there, with $450,000 still to raise.

That's a HUGE gap to close in a short amount of time, and we cannot do it without you.

Every day, 110 dogs depend on us for food, shelter, veterinary care, medication, enrichment and the chance to find loving homes. Their needs don't stop when donations slow down. They still need to eat, they still need medical attention, and they still need somewhere safe to sleep.

We need our community to rally around them now.

Meet Magnificent Milo — Fresh from a professional photoshoot he is ready to show off his lion locks close-up. Found as a puppy in a drain who grew up on a fish farm, Milo was kept as a guard dog. He was found roaming with a heavy, broken metal chain around him and when the farm closed, he was left behind.

This smart, handsome boy has blossomed, and whenever he gets time out of his kennel with his beloved volunteers his personality shines through.

- A little treat training to show off those brains.

- A spot of bird-chasing because, well, birds!

- A little hill run to his beloved volunteer.

- And, of course, the all-important chin tickle from another favourite human.

For Milo, these aren’t just little moments of fun. They’re moments of connection. He loves getting outside for walks, enjoying the fresh air, and soaking up that precious one-on-one attention.

And that’s what Milo dreams of having every day.

Meet Paris, our little bouncing bunny, who hops her way through life, and Jengo, her younger sidekick, who thinks running is MUCH more efficient! Two pups, two styles, one whole lot of fun!

Both Paris and Jengo are still waiting for their forever homes.

They’ve got the energy, the personality and the love to fill your life with endless laughs, zoomies and companionship. All they need now is a home most suited for them.

Happy Friday and especially from this boy as it will be his last Friday in the shelter.

Wellness expert Kenzo has some parting words of advice before he starts his homestay this weekend!

- Stay healthy on the inside
- Stay clean on the outside
- Keep your stress levels low.
- Get plenty of exercise.
- AND never underestimate the importance of a good ear clean.😉

Fresh from his bath and straight into the ear-cleaning department… Kenzo's adopters have been bonding with him (including ear cleaning) over the past weeks in preparation to bring him home!

All spruced up because this weekend he’s off to start homestay— the next step in his journey towards finding his forever home.

Ready to charm his potential humans!

20 years of second chances — and still counting.

As OSCAS marks its 20th anniversary, we’re raising funds to continue giving shelter dogs the care, safety and love they deserve.

From young pups to senior dogs requiring extensive medical care, every donation makes a difference — helping provide food, shelter, veterinary care, rehabilitation and, most importantly, hope for a better future.
