I have to remind myself that 4 years ago, I collected the keys to my new venture โ a dog boarding and daycare facility.
The journey was far from easy. During the preparation phase, there were walls to hack, endless red tape to cut through, and countless obstacles to overcome. There were many moments when I questioned whether I could make it through, but with the support of so many friends, I found the strength to keep going. For the first time, I had the courage to start something on my own.
It was during a period of midlife uncertainty. I was fearful of taking such a huge step forward, but with the encouragement, trust, and support I received, I decided to take the leap.
Today, I want to take a moment to thank everyone who was part of that journey. Many came forward with generous ang paos and financial support that helped me get the business off the ground. Others offered their time, expertise, encouragement, and assistance in countless ways. Every contribution mattered and played a part in making this dream a reality.
They all understood my intention from the very beginning. I wanted to help more animals, but I knew I needed a sustainable business to support that mission. While we may not be making a fortune today, we are comfortable, and more importantly, we have created a space that has transformed the lives of countless rescued animals. To me, that is what truly matters.
To all our clients who believed in us and entrusted their beloved pets to our care, thank you. Your support has not only helped Rock N Ruff grow, but it has also enabled us to do more for animal rescue and welfare.
From the bottom of my heart, I would like to give a huge shout-out to every single person who made Rock N Ruff possible. Thank you for believing in me, supporting me, and walking this journey with me.
To my amazing team at Rock N Ruff and Voices For Animals โ we made it. Together, we have changed so many lives, both human and animal. And for that, I will always be grateful.
