Our most important mission includes rescuing abandoned animals, caring for them, treating them when they need medical attention and finding forever homes for them. Moreover, whenev

er possible, we organize spay & neuter campaigns, as well as educate the next generations about animal care and protection. We have a shelter close to Bucharest. Our shelter is continuously hosting over 200 dogs, 25 cats and one cow, which was saved from slaughter. About 100 of the dogs under our care find forever homes throughout the course of 1 year. However, animal rescue in Romania is a never ending activity. All time we find abandoned dogs and cats which need care, food and safety. Founded in 2016, CARPE has so far rescued ~ 850 dogs and over 30 cats. We managed to find loving families for about 500 of them. Some of the dogs we rescue are shy or simply never get a request to be adopted. For these dogs, CARPE is their forever home and they rely on their rescuer to provide daily care, food, water and any necessary veterinary treatments. Besides Rescue and Adoption, We, together with the vets and sponsors are also organizing Spay&Neuter campaigns, especially in the rural part of Romania, where lots of dogs and puppies get dumped. CARPE is also involved, whenever possible, in Educational and Awareness Campaigns regarding Animal Welfare in Schools, Kindergarden and Workplaces that allow this kind of activity. CARPE’s activity depends entirely on donations and sponsorship to be able to care for animals. Our rescuers do everything out of responsibility, care and love for animals, on a voluntary basis. Inca o portie gustoasa de mancarica pentru burticile vesele din adapostul CARPE, pentru care multumim din suflet Fressnapf România

Blanosii nostri s-au obisnuit cu rasfatul culinar si dau din codite cu entuziasm de fiecare data cand vad donatiile.

Conservele Junior au venit exact la timp, avem 3 serii noi de pui abandonati langa adapost care mananca cu pofta.

I am desperately trying to save a life!

A dog that was simply abandoned at one of this year's spay campaigns had a crisis and I urgently brought her to the vet.

Diagnosed with Ehrlichia, she is in shock and she is losing a lot of blood and is literally struggling between life and death and needed a quick transfusion!

I need to urgently pay for the blood for her, blood that she will still need again soon.

The accounts are empty, following the many and difficult medical cases in the last period.
I am at my wits' end, but I want to do everything I can for her. She needs to get through this critical moment and I have to pay for: tests, transfusion, hospitalization.

Please help me help her!

Incerc, in mod disperat, sa salvez o viata!
O catelusa care pur si simplu a fost abandonata la una din campaniile de sterilizare din acest an a avut o criza si am adus-o de urgenta la cabinet.

Diagnosticata cu Erlichia, este in soc si pierde mult sange, se zbate la propriu intre viata si moarte si a avut nevoie de transfuzie rapida!
Trebuie sa platesc urgent sangele pentru ea, sange de care inca va mai nevoie in curand.

Conturile sunt goale, in urma cazurilor medicale multe si grele din ultima perioada.
Sunt la capatul puterilor, dar vreau sa fac tot ce pot si pentru ea. Trebuie sa treaca de acest moment critic si eu sa platesc pentru: analize, transfuzie, internare.

Va rog sa ma ajutati sa o ajut!

Spay/neuter campaigns are crucial in our shelter’s area. We have so many abandoned dogs that we could probably fill an entire new shelter.
We've been organizing campaigns for years, but we still rescue abandoned puppies, some, as you could see, even at our shelter gates.
With our partners' help, Rescue Association Hobo Dogs we've spayed thousands, reducing significantly the number of unwanted puppies.
But it's not enough. We must continue because every spayed dog means lives saved.

Local authority and mayor’s support is vital. We raised awareness about the importance of spaying in the area
We started with door-to-door outreach. Now people trust us enough to fill our monthly waiting lists

In May: 97 dogs spayed

Thank you to Rescue Association Hobo Dogs &their donors who support the campaigns, Local authorities, the wonderful vets at Trauma Surgery Vet, volunteers and people who choose to spay their dogs.
This changes lives.

Campaniile de sterilizare sunt cruciale în zona adăpostului nostru. Avem atât de mulți câini abandonați încât am putea umple un adăpost nou.
Organizăm astfel de campanii de ani de zile, dar încă gasim pui abandonați, unii, după cm ați putut vedea, chiar la porțile adăpostului nostru.
Cu ajutorul partenerilor noștri, Rescue Association Hobo Dogs, am sterilizat de-a lungul timpului mii de câini, reducând semnificativ numărul de pui nedoriți.
Dar nu este suficient. Trebuie să continuăm, deoarece fiecare câine sterilizat înseamnă vieți salvate.

Sprijinul Primariei este vital. Am crescut gradul de conștientizare cu privire la importanța sterilizării in zona.
Am început cu activități de informare din ușă în ușă. Acum oamenii au suficientă încredere în noi pentru a completa listele noastre de așteptare in vederea sterilizarii cainilor lor.

În luna mai: 97 de câini sterilizați.

Mulțumim Rescue Association Hobo Dogs și donatorilor lor, autorităților locale, minunaților medici veterinari de la Trauma Surgery Vet, voluntarilor și persoanelor care aleg să-și sterilizeze câinii.

I wish I could have had you forever but today something was stronger than your wish to live. You went to meet your other friends that you spent your life with. Say “Hi” from me.
You will never be forgoten, W***y. Images with you jumping easily the fences will remain in many people’s hearts and mind ❤

Uneori, doar sa te opresti din drum poate salva o viață.

Robin este în viață. L-am numit Robin (macaleandru in lb romana), pentru că macaleandrul simbolizează speranța și începuturile noi.

Robin a fost lovit de o mașină și lăsat pe marginea drumului, cu 2 picioare rupte si cu o voință puternică de a trăi.

Suntem recunoscători că nu are dureri, dar călătoria lui este departe de a se fi terminat. Veterinarul spune că se va vindeca fără operație, pentru că oasele rupte nu s-au deplasat, dar trebuie să evite mișcarea, asa ca, in timp, cu analgezice, răbdare și siguranță, va fi ca nou

O viață salvată. Am acoperit factura cu donațiile pe care le-am primit până acum pentru el. Mulțumim!

Robin are nevoie de hrană bună, vitamine și niște pastile pentru a-l ajuta în continuare in recuperare.

Sometimes just stopping the car can save a life.

Robin is alive. We named him Robin, because robins symbolize renewal, hope, and fresh beginnings

Hit by a car and left on the side of the road. Two broken legs, but a strong will to live.

We're grateful he's not in pain, but his journey is far from over. The vet says he'll heal without a surgery, because the broken bones haven’t moved, but he needs to avoid moving, and in time, with pain killers, patience and safety, he will be as good as new.

One life saved. W covered the vet invoice with the donations we have received so far. Thank you!

Robin still needs good food, vitamins and some pills to help him further recover.

Live din adapost!! Au aruncat 10 pui aici, la 20 de metri de adăpost!!!

10 pui!! Tocmai am ajuns și așteptau….. E prea mult!! A treia serie de pui aruncați în ultimele 2 săptămâni!!

Sunt foarte mici, au nevoie de hrană specială. Sunt atât de vulnerabili la boli oribile fără mama lor!

Hrană specială, deparazitare, vaccinuri! E prea mult! Cat sa mai pot duce?

Vă rog, AJUTOR!

Live from the shelter. 10 puppies left here, 20 meters away from the shelter!!!

10 puppies!! I just got here and they were just waiting. This is too much!! The third lot of puppies thrown in the last 2 weeks!!

They are very small, they still need special food. They are so vulnerable without their mother!

Special food, deworming, vaccines! It's too much ! How much more to handle?

Vieti mici cu branule atasate

Săptămâna trecută, 3 cățeluși adorabili au fost abandonați lângă adăpostul nostru 💔. Le-am acordat imediat îngrijire, dar la scurt timp după ce au primit deparazitarea internă, au început să se simtă rau, așa că i-am dus la veterinar pentru analize și investigații. Din păcate, au fost diagnosticați cu infestare cu viermi și Parvoviroza
Au fost separati de mama lor prea devreme, au doar 7 saptamani acum, dragii de ei 😔

Acești micuți au nevoie de tot ajutorul posibil! Medicii veterinari fac tot ce pot pentru a-i salva, dar avem nevoie de SPRIJINUL dvs. pentru a acoperi costurile medicale .
Și ca și cm nu era de ajuns, avem și un caz cu un câine lovit de mașină, așa că resursele noastre sunt epuizate 🐾.

Last week, we rescued 3 adorable puppies who were dumped on the road near our shelter 💔. They quickly showed signs of illness, so we rushed them to the vet. Unfortunately, they've been diagnosed with worm infestation and Parvovirosis.

They were separated from their mother too soon, they are only 7 weeks old now. Poor babies😔

These little ones need all the help they can get! The vets are fighting hard to save them, but we need YOUR support to cover their medical bills .
To make matters worse, we recently had a dog hit by a car, and our resources are very low 🐾.

Ploaie torențială, fulgere, tunete și, din păcate, un câine lovit de mașină si lăsat pe marginea drumului cu apă și pâine lângă el.

Am avut sentimentul că ar putea fi încă în viață. Tremura îngrozitor, era ud leoarcă și sangera, dar nu am avut timp să-l verific in detaliu...

L-am urcat în mașină și l-am dus la cabinetul veterinar. Acum este în curs de evaluare. Decizia privind operația va fi luată în curând.

Este nevoie urgentă de ajutor pentru el. Dacă mă puteți ajuta, vă rog să nu ezitați.

Heavy rain, lightning, thunders, and unfortunately a dog hit by car and left on the edge of the road with water and bread near.
I just had the feeling that might be still alive. Trembling badly, soaking wet and blood coming from somewhere, but I didn’t have the time check..
I just got him in the car and drove to vet office. He is now under evaluation. The decision regarding surgery will be taken shortly.

Help for him is really needed. If you can help, please don’t hesitate
