Our focus is on helping people address these challenges in a force-free, holistic manner, which promotes well-being of pups and people. Hi, I'm Alexandra Dittmann, a dog trainer (former balanced, now, force-free) based in North Portugal with my husband and three dogs. I started my training journey in the 90's in Germany, specializing in Schutzhund/IPG with Rottweilers, German Shepherds, and Giant

Schnauzers. Over the years, I've worked as an assistant trainer in local schools and rescue organizations. I've authored books for social media influencer-dog trainers and led a team of online consultants at American Standard Dog Training. Despite my background in balanced training, I now focus on holistic, force-free methods that prioritize the emotional well-being of every dog. In my consultations, I strive to help dogs and their owners achieve a happy and fulfilling life together.

The canine professional posting this video, Murdaugh, got that pit owner's problems solved after various other trainers (and their online courses) failed.
I've talked to Kevin on Livestream 2 weeks ago - link in the comments -, and watched several of his hands-on training sessions with clients and their dogs. He's my go-to guy when anyone asks for help with PITBULLS/BULLIES and SEVERE AGGRESSION CASES (meaning that I refer them to him). Both of which I don't touch, not even in online consultations, as I just want nothing to do with aggression cases at this point in my life, and I am biased when it comes to bully-breed dogs, especially after my Beagle was badly bitten by an off-leash one just for minding her own business on a public riverwalk, and being leashed as local laws demand.
If you know someone having issues with their pit, or aggressive dog... Might wanna help them out and send them a link to Kevin's channel or his FB page Act Like A Human Think Like A Dog. I don't get money for referring him, btw, but it also doesn't cost me anything to help out where possible.
In this case, Kevin assessed that pit's behavior and concluded that it'd be easy to stop the aggressive outbursts. Turns out he was right.

That's why placeboard-training is so powerful - very easy to transition the skills of going to place, and holding a down-stay there, from the placeboard to a towel or mat. We always bring a towel along as some outdoor-terraces have mucky floors and I don't want the Beagles to lie down there. I also imagine that a towel is more comfortable than, way, bare concrete or decking.

Canine Care Consultations are every bit as important as training consultations: Senior dogs can suffer from a variety of health issues as well as mental challenges in the form of canine dementia in its various stages. These challenges can be very difficult to deal with for the owner, but there's always ways we can help make life as comfortable and easy as possible for everyone involved.
