Judy and Jack are two puppies that were found on base. They are about 10 weeks old and are looking for a foster home or their forever home! They do not have any vaccines yet and they are currently staying with our manager. If you are interested please let us know!

FOUND DOG! This male German shepherd was found a few days ago off base, I believe towards Angra. He has a microchip but it is not Portuguese. If you or anybody you know is missing this dog please let me know and I will contact the foster home! Help us get him back to his family!

Good morning everyone! These are the last two dogs we will have for adoption before the kennel closes at the end of September. The German Shepherd is Marley. He is about 3 years old, potty trained and super sweet. He will make a great guard dog but we also be a great couch potato. The second dog is Falcor again. He is neutered, vaccinated, potty trained, microchipped and ready for his forever home! Please message us if interested in either of them.

Unfortunately due to understaffing we will not be able to have a kennel employee out at doggy play day from now until September when the kennel closes. I hope you all will understand. Today we are canceling due to rain, but the following weeks we will leave all the supplies and water out there for everyone to use and we will collect it after. Thank you for making doggy play days a great kennel event!

ATTENTION KENNEL CUSTOMERS: Due to decreased business the kennel hours will be changing once again. Starting next Monday 21 July the kennel will only be open from 0900-1200. If you need us please call or come in during those hours. Thank you!

Jasmine and Aladdin are still waiting for their forever homes! They will have their last round of shots in 2 weeks and will be ready to go. We are hoping for a family that can adopt them together since they are the best of friends! Let us know if you're interested in taking these sweet babies home

Hello Lajes! If you see a cat with it's ear tipped that means he has been fixed already! Please do not touch them, feed them or interact with them. The cats on base need to learn to stop relying on humans. As everyone starts leaving and the base becomes more and more unaccompanied airmen there will be nobody left to feed the cats and those dependent on food from humans will not know what to do. If you would like to help you can bring donations by the kennel and we can trap, fix and release more cats! It's around 30€ for males and 50€ for females.
