The next time someone tells you dogs are dangerous, share this video.

Here's a poor man with none of the privileges and comforts that many of us do.

And yet, he chooses to share whatever he can with the stray dogs he passes by.

He shares food. He shares his love and compassion. He does it with endless generosity.

Notice how the first thing he said when he noticed our friend behind the camera is a word of reassurance: "they don't bite".

Our panic-fuelling media and growing masses of dog-hating people have propagated this lie that dogs attack people without any reason.

This man alone shatters that entire myth. The dogs love him. Feel completely safe and comfortable around him.

"They've never once bitten me my whole life", he repeats emphatically.

All because he approaches them with kindness.

That's all it takes. A warm smile. A pat on the head. Some spare food. Or even just not hurting them.

The next time someone tries to provoke irrational fear and hate against street dogs, remember this wonderful man.

Some rescues turn into all-night operations.

Like this recent case of an injured, and very scared, dog that did a supreme job of hiding in a bushy area, under the cover of the night.

Due to poor visibility, it continued to evade our team until the break of dawn.

Such cases can be very taxing. But the reward in the end is priceless.

We're glad we were there to extend help to this baby and give him a chance at a healthier life.

Important Update About Jaancar Rescue Charges (2026)

Starting today Jaancar’s transportation charges will be as follows:

• DHA & Clifton: Rs. 3,500
• Outside DHA & Clifton: Rs. 4,000

Last year, we operated at Rs. 3,000 and faced multiple challenges, including unpaid transports, which forced our team to cover expenses from their own pockets.

We kindly request everyone to ensure timely payment when using Jaancar’s ambulance services. Jaancar runs solely on transport charges and donations, and even these revised rates are still kept at a minimum.

Let’s be responsible and stand together for the animals who depend on us.

This was a rescue we couldn't have handled alone.

A cat was trapped on the 4th floor of an apartment building's balcony. The person who lives there is out of town, and the cat somehow founds it way there during their absence.

In order to perform this rescue, we needed special, long ladders to reach the top of buildings and other rescue equipment.

Thats when came to our aid. They acted promptly and managed to save the cat (which immediately ran away after the fact, but its well taken care of by people in the neighborhood).

The courage with which the team acted and rappeled down from the top of the building is incredibly commendable.

It was one of the toughest rescues we've been a part of. Grateful to God and everyone involved for helping us save a life. 🙏

The entire experience has been extremely smooth and i can't thank you all enough."

Recently, we had the pleasure of helping Moti get rescued after the request of a kind person who cares for her.

Usually, it's tough work catching a dog. But Moti is so comfortable around humans that we didnt even need to cage her in a jetbox during the drop-off. ❤️

And the truth is, every dog is a Moti if given a loving, harm-free environment with plenty of head pats and food.

It's up to us humans to free stray animals from the fear we've instilled in them and replace that fear with love and coexistence. Every dog will wag their tails and greet passerbys with affection just like Moti then.
