Every life is worth fighting for. 🐾

Over the weekend, we coordinated closely with a reporter to rescue a dog in critical condition from Korangi No. 5.

Sadly, despite everyone's best efforts, the dog couldn't make it.💔

While this isn't the outcome we prayed for, we want to thank everyone who stepped up to help give this soul a fighting chance. Rest in peace, little one.

Abandonment is a heartbreaking reality for working animals when they become sick or injured.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Iram Zaeem for her swift intervention, reporting the plight of this donkey to us.

We rushed to the scene when we learned of this donkey. That same night, the donkey was given critical first aid by vets as soon as possible to stabilize her injuries and control the bleeding.

Once treated, she was safely boarded in DHA for the night to rest in a secure environment.

The next day, she was sent to (CDRS) where she is now receiving the specialized, long-term medical treatment and rehabilitation she desperately needs.

We're glad to have played our part in this rescue along with Iram, the vets who provided immediate relief, and CDRS who took the poor soul in.

It breaks our hearts that we pick up multiple dogs in this condition every single day. 💔

And it brings our bigger goal into focus: we don’t just want to treat the suffering we see, we want to prevent it altogether.

That’s why we’re committed to doing as much TNVR as we possibly can, tackling the problem at its root and helping reduce the stray dog population humanely, so that fewer animals have to suffer on the streets every single day.

We can’t rescue our way out of this crisis. We need to prevent it.

Please donate and support us in making TNVR accessible to as many dogs as possible. And if you can, take charge of the dogs in your own area and help get them TNVR’d too. Every dog sterilised is one step closer to breaking this cycle. 🐾❤️

Our volunteer, Syed Aftab Shah, talks about the impact of animal abuse during childhood and how it can affect children into adulthood.

As adults, it’s our responsibility to guide children in the right direction and teach them healthier ways to express anger and process their emotions. Without the right guidance, patterns of aggression and violence can carry into adulthood and potentially extend towards other people as well.

It starts with teaching empathy, compassion, and healthy emotional expression. 🐾❤️

🐾Another Life Saved in Korangi❤️

Haroon was tagged in a post about an injured dog near Iqra University, Korangi. He immediately contacted the reporter, who shared her exact location and helped guide the rescue.

He then contacted JaanCar – Animal Ambulance & Rescue Service, and our team took over. After checking the area to ensure she had no puppies, we coordinated with the reporter and safely rescued her while she was sleeping.

She was in a heartbreaking condition, with a severe maggot-infested wound near her tail, a partially chopped-off tail, multiple injuries and a fractured leg. 💔

Once recovered, she will be released back at the same location, with the reporter kindly agreeing to keep an eye on her.

🙏 Thank you to the reporter for locating her, sharing the information and helping our team reach her safely.

10 days of suffering, but finally, help. 🐾❤️

A woman found this wounded dog and spent days reaching out to shelters, trying desperately to get her help. After hitting dead ends, someone finally gave her JaanCar’s number.

We rushed to the rescue, safely brought her to the hospital, and got her the medical care she desperately needed.

Thank you to the woman who refused to give up on her. ❤️

She’s safe now. Her healing begins. 🐶🤍

A worried young man reached out about a dog with a painful wound on his back. Despite being bitten because of the dog’s pain and fear, he refused to give up on him. ❤️

JaanCar rushed in with a vet and provided full on-site treatment. The wound is now clean, medicated, and this brave boy is happily caring for him again. 🥹

So grateful for humans who choose to help instead of walking away. Good humans truly exist. 🧿🌻

Around 12:30 AM, Jaancar was alerted about an injured donkey in urgent need of rescue. Despite the late hour, heavy traffic, and roadblocks from the 12 rabiulawwal’s processions, our team immediately rushed to the location.

We found two injured donkeys, including one with a broken leg and another who was pregnant. Both were safely rescued and transported to CDRS Benji Project for Animal Welfare for treatment.

Huge thanks to Tooba Aamir ⁩for coordinating and to the Jaancar team for making this rescue possible. ❤️🐴
