We sincerely apologize to everyone who was scheduled for today’s Low-Cost Spay and Neuter at La Caridad Farm, as well as those along the Pintuyan route.

Today’s activities had to be cancelled because our available anesthetics were used yesterday to stabilize our donor dogs in an emergency effort to help Lucky. Every decision was made with one goal in mind—to give him a fighting chance and a little more time with the people who love him.

We understand how much time, trust, and effort you put into preparing for today, and we truly regret any inconvenience this may have caused. This was not an easy call for our team.

We will be rescheduling the Low-Cost Spay and Neuter on February 21–22, 2026, and we hope for your kind understanding and continued support.

🏥 PRE-SURGERY REMINDERS (IMPORTANT!):
✅ Fasting: Do NOT feed your pet for 8 to 10 hours before their scheduled surgery. This is crucial to prevent vomiting and aspiration during anesthesia. Water is allowed until 2 hours before the procedure.
✅ Health Check: Ensure your pet is healthy, active, and not vomiting/diarrheic.

🛡 THE IMPORTANCE OF THE E-COLLAR (CONE): Please prepare an E-collar (Cone) or purchase one at the clinic. It is strictly required to prevent your pet from licking or scratching the surgical wound, which causes infection and opens the stitches. A cone = faster healing!
