At Ferndale Homes Cat Sanctuary, we rescue stray cats, nurse them back to health, and ensure they’re vaccinated and spayed/neutered to control the stray population.

Nebule time for our brave Pogi. 🤍

Nebulization has been a big help in managing his respiratory symptoms. It helps loosen secretions and makes breathing more comfortable without unnecessarily adding another oral medication to the many he already takes.

With Pogi, we try to keep his care simple and gentle, giving only what he needs, with guidance from his vet. Consistency, supportive care, and lots of love. 🐾

One day at a time, Pogi. We keep going. 🤍

Ganito si Alden kadungis every time we visit the sanctuary. 😂🤍

But no problem😘clean-up time with Alden has become part of my everyday ritual. Not just once, but sometimes 2–3 times a day! And honestly, I don’t mind. These little moments have become our special bonding time. 🥰

Just look at his before and after! ✨

He could really use a proper bath, but for now, I’d rather not risk stressing him too much, especially with everything his body has been through.

And another little good news: the wound from the mass that ruptured has healed really well. 🙏🏻 One less thing to worry about for our brave boy.

We’ll just keep taking it one day at a time, Alden. 🤍

Sanctuary life is never easy. Some days are filled with worry, exhaustion, and battles we never expected to fight. But somehow, many of those struggles slowly become victories. ❤️🐾

Pogi—from paralysis, FLUTD, and living with FeLV and FIV—to showing us every day just how resilient he is. His body may have limitations, but his spirit refuses to give up.

Mama Red fought FIP and survived. Today, she’s thriving and living like the queen she was always meant to be. 👑

Pamtu… if you saw him before, you probably wouldn’t believe he’s the same happy, playful cat we see today.

And then there’s Tumbling our very nonchalant resident nanny. 😂 He may look like he doesn’t care about anything, but he quietly watches over the kittens. Whenever one of them escapes or wanders too far, somehow Tumbling is there to help bring the little troublemaker back. ❤️

And there are so many more.

Every cat here has a story. Someday, I hope I can tell each one of them properly.

For now, this is our daily sanctuary life.

There are still difficult days. There are still moments when I wonder how we’ll keep going. And sometimes, it feels like there are only a few willing to fight for them.

But I’m grateful that those few still exist. ❤️ And that is what matters.

Because every life saved, every cat that learns to trust again, every sick baby who gets another chance, and every little victory reminds us why we keep going.

Sa dami ng pagsubok, here we are still standing, a little stronger than yesterday.

We keep showing up. We keep fighting. We don’t give up.

For them. For the voiceless. For every life that deserves a chance. 🐾❤️

Looking for a healthy, happy kitten to welcome into your family? 🐾❤️

Please consider our Celestial Kittens. 🌙✨

These **6 beautiful babies—2 females and 4 males—**were rescued together with their mama, Star, when they were still tiny and completely dependent on her.

Now at around 6 months old, they’ve grown into healthy, playful, and sweet kittens. They’re currently waiting to be spayed/neutered, and hopefully, their forever families will be waiting for them too. 🥹🏡

A sanctuary is a temporary home, not a forever home. They deserve to grow up with families of their own, where they’ll be loved and protected for the rest of their lives. ❤️

And every adoption opens a space for another cat who may need rescuing.

Please consider adopting one of our Celestial Kittens. ✨
Maybe your home is the forever home they’ve been waiting for. 🐾
