So what's the difference between class A and class B sulcata tortoises? 🐢
As you can see, sa ating class A, mas perfect and symmetrical shell niya, even scutes which is the standard for most keepers. On the other hand, sa ating class B naman meron siyang extra scute (sa iba it can be more than just 1 extra scute) Hindi even ang pattern ng shell niya which looks more like a deformity. However, this doesn't affect their health. The reason for class B tortoises' cheaper pricing is mainly just their appearance and not because may health issues sila.
We've encountered a few keepers who specifically look for class B sulcatas because of their uniqueness and some breeders say that the class B sulcatas are more likely to be females.. What are your thoughts on this? 🤔
