This past two weeks have been emotionally exhausting for us. Our Manang Nami🐾 was diagnosed with open-cervix pyometra.

Pyometra is a serious and potentially life-threatening infection that commonly affects unspayed female dogs. It occurs when the uterus becomes filled with pus. The condition typically arises due to hormonal changes during the heat cycle, allowing bacteria to enter and infect the uterus.

Symptoms include:
- Lethargy
- Excessive thirst
- Vaginal discharge
- Vomiting

Last saturday evening, she had her emergency spay operation (ovariohysterectomy). Right now, she is at home and continuously takes her medication for post-surgery. Everything is going well and she is doing great at the moment. Kindly include her in your prayers. 🤎🐾🐩
