🍉 Unlimited watermelon?
👑 Hari ng colony?
🏃 Successful escape mission?
🦎 O bangungot tungkol sa gutom na beardie? 😂

Scientists still aren't sure if insects dream the same way humans do, pero they do have periods of rest.

Curious lang ako sa mga sagot niyo. 😆👇

🪳 "May babies na ba?" 👀🔦😂

POV: Bagong dubia breeder ka...

☀️ Umaga — check ng bin.
🍽️ Tanghali — check ulit.

✔ Warm
✔ Dark
✔ Proper ratio
✔ Food & water
✔ Patience

Remember: Dubias don't need daily inspections.
Sometimes the best thing you can do for your colony...
..is leave them alone. 🪳❤️

How often did YOU check your breeder bin when you were starting out? 😂👇

They don’t bark or meow…
but somehow, they became part of your life.” 🦎🪳🐍

Only reptile owners will understand the bond. ❤️

⚖️ Early Morning Ratio Correction Day 🪳🔥

From chaos… to organized breeding 😎
✔️ Corrected the male-to-female ratio
✔️ Removed excess males
✔️ Less stress inside the bin
✔️ Better production soon 👀

Breeding is not just paramihan — strategy din 💯🪳

Yung simpleng pagpapakain lang sana…

naging SEARCH AND RESCUE OPERATION real quick 😭🪳💨

⚠️ Common Causes of Dubia Deaths

❄️ 1. Wrong Temperature

Kapag masyadong malamig:
❌ Humihina sila
❌ Bumabagal kumain
❌ Higher stress

Kapag sobrang init:
❌ Dehydration
❌ Higher mortality

💧 2. Lack of Hydration

Dubias still need moisture.

Possible signs:
❌ Payat
❌ Weak movement
❌ Dry-looking colony

🍽️ 3. Poor Nutrition

Low-quality food can weaken the colony over time.

Healthy dubias need:
✅ Balanced dry feed
✅ Fresh vegetables
✅ Proper gut-loading

😵 4. Stress & Poor Ventilation

Overcrowding + poor airflow = higher stress and possible deaths.

🧹 5. Dirty Bin

Too much waste buildup can affect colony health.

Regular cleaning helps maintain a healthier environment.

💡 Reminder

A few deaths are normal in any colony.
What matters is:

✅ overall colony health
✅ activity
✅ breeding consistency

Healthy colony = healthier feeders. 💚

Napansin mo bang dati mabilis dumami ang colony mo… tapos biglang bumagal? 🤔🪳

Common Reasons Why Production Slows Down

❄️ 1. Masyadong Malamig
Dubias breed best in warm temperatures.
Kapag malamig:
❌ Mas mabagal kumain
❌ Mas mabagal mag reproduce
❌ Mas mabagal growth

🍽️ 2. Poor Nutrition
Low-quality feed = weaker colony.
Healthy breeders need:
✅ Protein
✅ Hydration
✅ Proper gut-loading

😵 3. Stress
Too much disturbance can affect production.
Examples:
❌ Madalas galawin
❌ Excessive light
❌ Poor ventilation

🧓 4. Aging Breeders
Older females may produce less over time.
Minsan kailangan na i-refresh ang breeders.
📦 5. Overcrowding
Kapag sobrang siksikan:
❌ More stress
❌ Competition for food
❌ Slower overall colony performance

💡 Pro Tip
Before buying more breeders:
✔️ Check temperature
✔️ Improve nutrition
✔️ Reduce stress
✔️ Observe colony conditions

Sometimes the issue is not the quantity— it’s the setup. 👌💚
