Thank God for children and dogs

https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1Jp1NSNMit/

A single photograph captured near Manila Central Railway Station in the Philippines has deeply moved people across the world. It shows an unidentified boy asleep on the pavement, holding his dog close—a moment that carries both hardship and quiet warmth. The image, shared on Facebook by a local resident named Jem Villomo, also revealed that the boy, often seen around the Edsa Shaw Boulevard area, never asked for money, only for food—for himself and his dog. Villomo later shared how painful it felt to witness the moment without being able to help.

The post spread rapidly online, drawing strong emotional reactions and calls for action. Many people demanded answers about the boy’s situation, while others wondered if he might be alone without family. Even with so many unknowns, one thing was clear—there was a shared hope that both the boy and his dog would find safety and care. The image stands as a reminder of the deep, mutual bond between them, showing that genuine love and connection don’t depend on material things.

Took the chance for a little loose lead training today whilst waiting for our treatment, Sam did very very well as this was her first experience like this since her recovery. We have decided along with Ma'am Vic Lai of team rescue Iloilo to seek further treatment for her badly damaged eye possibly remove it as it's condition seems to be worsening. 😞 With An-an Lagundo Moore
