Rainbow Gourami -

They possess a specialized breathing organ called a labyrinth organ, which allows them to gulp and breathe atmospheric air. This adaptation helps them survive in warm, low-oxygen waters in the wild.

They are notoriously shy, gentle, and peaceful fish, making them ideal community aquarium inhabitants.

They are active schooling fish and must be kept in groups of at least 5 to 6 individuals. Keeping them alone or in pairs can cause them to become stressed or nippy with other fish.
