Yesterday I read the story of David and Goliath again.
David didn’t fight with armor he didn’t know. He fought with what he already mastered as a shepherd. And before he stepped onto the battlefield, he placed the battle in God’s hands.
It reminded me that God equips each of us with specific tools for the battles we’ll face. Sometimes He takes us through the desert first, just so we can learn how to use them when the time comes.
