Another happy customer with her instant fold !

Marshall Highland Fold are very fortunate to meet and connect with so many people on a daily basis, who are very passionate of the breed and have come to us enquiring about adding some highlands to their farm collection.

Well I’m glad to say we have made someone’s dream come true. We had advertised the Glenrosa girls and their heifer calves to make room for new bloodlines coming in and in just weeks, they were all travelling together to their new home. Their lovely owner has shared with us a wonderful review of her experience purchasing highlands for the first time 🐂

Like I always say, it’s hard saying goodbye as I can’t keep them all forever and that I need to keep moving forward. It’s also super rewarding to hear that others appreciate and acknowledge our work behind the scenes in all our stock. To know that the girls are happily settled, lapping up the attention and are enjoying that lush grass up in Balclutha has made this transition all work without a hitch.

I’m in awe !!

It’s been 2 months since Macauley of Marshall left for Christchurch to his new family and ladies. They have kindly shared with us an incredible review of their experience with Marshall Highland Fold 🐂

We’ve received so many amazing updates and photos of Macauley, who is growing very beautifully and is noticeably enjoying his life, full of pampering and lots of family attention. It’s been so lovely to know he’s well loved and being able to watch him grow from afar is such a huge accomplishment in itself.

It fills my heart with absolute joy to see our Marshall bloodlines going strength to strength, making all our hard-work worth while.

The future is looking bright as we are super thrilled to unveil our new venture.

Marshall Highland Fold is now an official member/registered breeder of The Highland Cattle Society SCIO, based in the UK 🇬🇧 where the Highland breed originated from West Scotland.

The Highland Cattle Society have been absolutely incredible to work alongside with. The volume of unwavering support, wealth of knowledge, well-preserved documentation of genetics and let’s not forget their enriching herd book, containing thousands of well recognised breeders and their animals has certainly made me more inquisitive to delve deeper into the breed’s origins.

I look forward to absorbing everything the society has to offer, proudly promote the breed and continue to expand our Marshall bloodlines, to all who share the same passion for this amazing breed.

So hard to say to goodbye !! But the time has come for our precious Macauley of Marshall to have new adventures with his new forever family and ladies in waiting. I know he’ll be well loved and flourish into an amazing sire, I’m going miss you so much Macauley 🫶🏼

I absolutely love this amazing review from Larissa 🐂 Today, we had herself, her Mum and Niece travel out to us for a fold visit. The weather was perfect and all the animals loved the attention, especially Raine who throughly enjoyed the constant brushing by miss Pyper.

New bull incoming !!

Strathburn Fold has just delivered us a very outstanding young bull to service our heifers. Let’s just say that Nellie, Blye & Marjorie are all very intrigued with their new holiday romance joining them in the home block.

This bull needs no introduction ! He’s such a stocky, well tempered and striking bull, who is already showcasing tremendous strength and qualities you seek in the highland breed.

Let’s just say I’m really looking forward to next calving season, with more new genetics to add to our Fold 🐂

Just like that we are officially sold out of our 2026 MHF calendars !

It’s been 5 years, since we first produced them and the stock numbers seem to be increasing each year with the demand. Hope you enjoy all the new photos 🐂

Happy birthday to mooo !! Our precious boy Macauley of Sruthan turns 7 years old today 🎉

Macauley, you are a true credit to the breed as you’ve never failed to impress us each year and being the proud Sire of over 15 gorgeous calves born into the fold. Couldn’t have asked for a better bull to start my fold with. Love you so much mate !

What’s even more special is that years later, we now have both Macauley and his gorgeous Dam, Gwendolyn living here together. Who would have known that the pair would meet each other again.
