Sable — 11-Month-Old Bullmastiff × Labrador
Sable is an 11-month-old Bullmastiff/Labrador cross who takes more after the Labrador side in appearance. She is a large-breed adolescent with good biddability, a gentle nature around children, and a naturally quiet temperament.
Temperament & People
Friendly with people and generally very quiet, rarely barking or making a sound.
Good with children and gentle around them.
Has been around a newborn.
Can be left alone without needing constant company.
Mostly a solitary dog who is comfortable having her own space.
Training & Behaviour
Knows sit, stay, down, and “out” (leave the area).
Waits for her food.
Good biddability and responds to handler direction.
Recall is a work in progress.
Pulls on the harness and needs continued lead training.
Medium-to-low energy levels.
Dog & Animal Compatibility
Has been compatible with intact male dogs and desexed female dogs.
Does not get along with cats and is not suitable for a home with cats.
Resource Guarding
Guards high-value resources, particularly food and blankets.
Requires responsible management around these items and an owner willing to continue appropriate training.
Home & Lifestyle
Previously lived primarily outdoors but is also calm when inside.
Can get into rubbish if it is left accessible, so bins and waste need to be secured.
Would benefit from a home that can provide consistent boundaries, continued training, and appropriate management of her guarding behaviour.

Speyed.
Microchipped.
Registered for one year.
Vaccinations up to date.
