HELP FIND KITTY
DURHAM CRES, CAMBRIDGE TERRACE

This kitty is missing and wed luv help to find him please.

He has been lovingly fed every day for over a year while trying to be rescued/trapped but he is savvy and wont go near one.

I am working with his carer who wants to give him a loving home as soon as he gets cawt - if only he knew what a wonderful life awaits him right!

Please open & wedge open house hatch doors, shed doors, garage windows if your in the area or have seen this guy please let us know so we can get him to his forever home.

If he has passed away please let us know so the carer can have closure.

The carer is door knocking, shes called all vets and spca, shes in touch with contractor that picks up cats from the road so we are accross everything - we just need a sighting so please look out for him.

Not what i thort id be posting about. Im so sorry. But Bruce had a small episode/seisure at 2.45am and passed away.

He was so much better yesterday with Aunty Cheryl giving him some Contact C.A.R.E. which he thoroughly enjoyed and he kept going back to her for more.

He was walking straighter, he was eating poopin n peeing so I was very happy to think he was on the mend.

Then he was back to stumbing no energy. He was due his meds so i gave those at 8pm and he started to settle. Ive stayed up with him since then and hes been calm n quiet but slightly agitated like yesterday.

He finally laid nicely and had a sleep so I stayed beside him to keep him company. Then around 2 i thort he was comfortable so I went to pop him back in his hospital crate. Then out of nowhere he had a tremour then a seisure so i picked him back up and he just passed away in my arms.

I just cant believe it. From being so good in the morning to gone. This precious wee man that ive cared for since January 2025 when he was so sick as a kitten & practically blind but had such a will to live. Through his first round of FIP he was growing big and beautiful.

Now gone.

These losses destroy me. This is the connection that breaks my heart. After getting them through so much spending days and nights caring for them and watching them grow into their personalities. They form an unbreakable bond with me and I get so excited when theyre finally ready for adoption.

To loose such a special wee soul is devastating. Unrepairable.

My heart has another chunk gone forever with this gentle beautiful boy.

Rest peacefully Bruce knowing you were loved so very much. Im sure the other family members from your Laundry Group will be meeting you on the bridge.

🐈‍⬛️Bruce Update💝

He has become more stable overnight so i am really relieved.

By 10.30pm last night he was looking for food and eating on his own

By 12:00 he stood on all 4 paws and balanced on his own for a bit. But also when he laid down he curled into a cat ball on the heatpad and slept soundly and looked so much more comfortable and no longer agitated or flicking his tail.

At 3am he had a little walk around and was more stable on his feet

At 7am he is brighter can stand and walk for longer plus hes more balanced and coordinated. His head is still goin to 1 side a bit but he looks much better. So it definately seems the FIP has gone Neuro which i have seen a lot of and its not usually an issue long term so these kits can still live long happy lives.

Hes chesty and has mucus that hes coffing up but his eyes n nose are still clear. So he definately has a secondary infection which the new round of antibiotics should sort out.

I feel better that we cawt it on time and he should now start to improve more n more.

URGENT!!! Bruce is being rushed into vets right now and we need help

🐈8.30pm UPDATE.......
Looks as tho his Dry FIP has progressed to Neuro/dry FIP along with a possible respitory infection. No bloods or xrays dun to save money because the treatment plan wouldnt change even if pnemonia or fluid was seen. So, lots of pain relief, antibiotics & anti-inflamatories given plus upping the dose of Remdesivere for the FIP. We will know tomorrow if hes looking/feeling better.

Tonight he has stood up twice on his own and he has eaten on his own. Two good signs of improvement. Thanks to all for donating towards his care which was $280 for tonight.

Were goin to need funds for bloods & possibly xrays as i think alongside his FIP relapse he may also have a respitory infection or being blind maybe he was jumped on & injured by a littermate???

Rescues everywhere are finding things hard and we all need a helping hand.

Ive been donated some amazing dry bikkies recently but my rescue kitties all get wet food every day, some 3 meals per day.

So Im in need of funds for wet food and to help pay vet bills still ($7500).
