Meet Auckland Puppy Rescue 🐶 Adopt • Foster • Rescue - a completely volunteer-run puppy rescue that’s found more than 1,000 forever homes since 2012 🐶
APR is entirely community-funded, working alongside pounds, shelters, the public and other rescues around the country to help puppies who need somewhere safe to go. But it’s not just about getting a puppy out of a tough situation - it’s about giving each one the health care, training and socialisation they need to actually thrive in their new home.
Here’s something that surprised us... APR has no shelter at all. Every puppy lives with a foster family, learning their personality, quirks and needs long before they’re matched with their forever home. Behind every adoption is a small volunteer team coordinating fosters, arranging vet care, fundraising and supporting families the whole way through.
If you’d like to foster, adopt, donate, or lend your time or skills, head over to Auckland Puppy Rescue 🐶 Adopt • Foster • Rescue or check out www.aucklandpuppyrescue.com to find out more.
