The first of a duo that traipsed up from the Naki. This is Peggy. Her Bro Rock and her both station bred so a tad better than "outa here" by "later".
The owner stipulated only Voice commands. Hence the runs are short and sweet. I would rather keep my vocals in place but I do as I am required.

SKY. Well yes. She is looking a very useful Huntaway BUT....I gave the Glenfiddich a freek'n good bash to get her here.
As she matures she will become a quality Bitch.
The Video operator was distant, because the Whaka wind was running a train thru the lens. Whistle and all.
Learning all the time scenario. The owner of her this Bi***es brother had a real job working him back to her voice and a plastic whistle when he came home.
I can't do much about the female voice but I went half good and bought a plastic whistle to adjust the dog for back home.
Yep! Swahili to the Bitch, but I smell a hint of progress.

SCOUT: It took a while longer than expected for me to get him running. Maybe the "Bloke" vs "Shiela" voice.
You may recall me talking about this ladies Huntaway I trained, that I thought was special.
I mentioned this to her Boss.
"It should have been with the price she paid as a Pup".
As my ol' man would say, "Ya can't beat breeding". AND "By the way. You're going back"!!!

With any luck my endeavours with CASH are shown below.
As previously mentioned here, CASH would have been one of the most traumatised dogs I have ever been asked to train.
I questioned the owner but his demeanour didn't support him being the culprit.
As per the video, this frightened kennel hugger has trained into a top heading dog. From what I gather CASH has moved owners and I wish him all the kindness he deserves.

A Huntaway with a teenage attitude. My ol' man once suggested I leave home whilst I still know everything.
Barney here, is not 12 months old so his attitude excusable to a certain extent. Going to be a quality dog in time.

Just an update on where this ol' coot has been.
Well... Away hooning in the US of A.
Came back to 6 more dogs to train.
I was wondering how I was going to pay for my trip to the States??
Wonderful trip. Southern States. Music, History and Bonhomie.
Even dropped into Nashville and recorded one of my songs.
Now that moistened this mans eyes a tad.
I see I have a shed load of participants on my page now.
DON'T all burden me with a dog to train at once. It will pay havoc with my pacemaker and I'll need to up the med's.
4 dogs in the training team at mo'.
One huntaway needs to be on the Ritalin.
Then a cross bred head/hunt that only likes pretending she's a Pig dog.
Another a fantastic mover. Beautiful balance and thats just playing with her mates. Sheep?? Yeah. Nah.
Last but not least... "Don't get grumpy Boss. I ain't done nuff'n.
Well Houston. I think I found ur problem.
OMG.....America here I come again.

BLUE: 13 months old on arrival, 14/2. Another young Huntaway ready to go home. Very useful Kuri Tane. Bloody tender nature but has a pleasant disposition. Young lady owner, so sorry ladies, no offence intended but both well suited. "Blue" doesn't swear as much, but the name has a connection.
I seldom get feedback from owners but I got a bit from Blues owner after she looked at the Video. Positive and complimentary.
Also I recently had an enquiry from a noted Kiwi woman She had acquired a Heading Bitch I trained 2 years ago and wanted to know a bit about it. (Interpol got nothing on the kiwi bush telephone.) She had tracked me down. I was able to send her the Video. Anyway, the pooch has a forever home now.
