🐾 A LITTLE FYI ABOUT DOG TRAINING 🐾
If you put your dog into training, yes, a trainer can teach them the skills they need — but the work doesn’t stop when the training session does. 🐶❤️
For training to really be successful, you need to follow through at home too. Consistency is key!
Your dog needs to understand that the same rules, boundaries and commands apply whether they’re with the trainer or with you. If you don’t continue practising, it can be difficult for those new behaviours to stick.
✨ Trainer + Owner + Consistency = Progress! ✨
Training is a team effort, and when everyone works together, your dog has the best chance of succeeding. 🐕💚

🐾 A LITTLE PRODUCT THAT’S BEEN A BIG HELP WITH ALLERGIES 🐾
One product I keep on hand for my dogs is Aniwell Filtabac Antibacterial Cream. 🐶❤️
For dogs who suffer from irritated or damaged skin, allergies can be so frustrating — the itching, redness and sore areas can really get them down.
Filtabac provides a protective barrier and has antibacterial and antiseptic properties. I use it as part of my dogs’ skin-care routine when needed, following the directions on the product. 🐾
✨ Why I like having it on hand: ✔️ Helps protect irritated/damaged skin
✔️ Creates a protective barrier
✔️ Has antibacterial & antiseptic properties
✔️ Suitable for use on dogs
✔️ Handy to have in the doggy first-aid cupboard
Please remember: every dog is different, and allergies can have many causes. If your dog has persistent, severe or worsening skin problems, it’s always best to speak with your vet before treating them yourself.
🐕💚 Just sharing a product that has worked well for my own dogs — always follow the product label and seek professional advice when needed.

📸🐾 SNAPSHOTS OF HAPPINESS 🐾📸

Take a photo of your fur baby today… because the little moments we sometimes take for granted can become our biggest and most precious memories. ❤️

Their silly faces, muddy paws, crazy zoomies, sleepy cuddles and those moments when they simply look at you with those loving eyes 🥰🐶

Life goes by far too quickly, so capture the pawsitive moments. 📷🐾

At Walk A Mile Dog Walking, we believe in happy dogs, happy days and making memories along the way. 💙

✨ Take the photo. Save the memory. Cherish your fur baby. ✨

Sorry for being so quiet lately ❤️

Things have been a bit hectic with the passing of my dad, illness, and getting out there and doing some run events. It’s been a lot to juggle, but I’m slowly getting back into the swing of things. 🥰

Here’s a little photo of me and Lexi mid-run 🏃‍♀️🐾❤️

Sometimes you just have to keep putting one foot in front of the other — both literally and figuratively. 🥹❤️

Thank you all for your patience and continued support. It really means more than you know. 🐾💕
