🇳🇿 Something very exciting is coming to New Zealand in September 2027…
Paul Bunker will be in Australia so
are currently working behind the scenes on an exciting opportunity to bring Paul Bunker of Chiron K9 to Christchurch, New Zealand in September 2027 for a specialist scentwork workshop.

Paul is internationally recognised for his knowledge and experience in detection dog training, scentwork and operational canine handling, and the opportunity to learn from someone of his calibre here in New Zealand would be something very special.

Our aim is to provide handlers, trainers and scentwork enthusiasts with the opportunity to immerse themselves in quality learning, develop their understanding of scent dog training and handling, and take away practical skills that can be applied to their own dogs.

We are planning a combination of working dog places and audit places, allowing everyone attending to gain maximum benefit from observing a range of dogs, handlers and training situations.

Details are still being finalised, including the exact dates, venue, format and registrations, and we will release further information as plans are confirmed.

For now, consider this a little save-the-space announcement — Paul Bunker may be coming to Christchurch in September 2027! 🇳🇿🐾

When the dog does not achieve what we expected, the first questions should often be: Was my training clear enough? Did I prepare the dog for this picture? Did my handling interfere? Were my expectations realistic? What did I fail to notice?
