A massive thank you to everyone who stopped by The 'Ruff' Stuff stall at the Golden Retrievers NZ Gathering in Taupo today. Despite a 5am alarm and that icy Taupo wind creating mischief with our products, the day was fantastic. Soooo many gorgeous golden retrievers (and their owners) having a blast today celebrating their breed.
We would like to thank everyone who stopped for a chat, a browse or made a purchase. Your support genuinely means so much, and it was such a pleasure to be there.
To those behind the scenes who organised this event ... well done! From the pawrade, the competitions, raffles, fashion parade, goodie bags and stallholders, everything from our point of view went so well and you should be very proud of your event. Hopefully it is the first of many!
To the dogs ... the smiles on your faces (yes, dogs CAN smile!) were matched by the smile on mine. All those pups that happily shared themselves with me, it was so appreciated. I got enough pats and interactions to last me quite a while, and the joy you brought to me was immense. I met dogs and owners from all over the North Island, with dogs ranging in age from 4 months to quite elderly, and you were all totally gorgeous!
Again, thanks to all involved, we loved being a part of your day, and appreciated the support from everyone in attendance.
