Turbo lines up on debut after two nice trials. To be ridden from a handy gate by Sam McNab.

Race 6 - THE TUMBLING PADDY 🎤
Vinny debuts over 1500m from an inside draw. He will look to be on pace for Jack Taplin and owners G P Rogers, J A Wilson & C P Rogers.

Race 8 - HE’S PLATINUM 💎
Alfie drops back to 1400m with Elen Nicholas aboard after a nice last start sixth.

RACING TOMORROW 🐎

Full Voltage ⚡️(Brodie) makes his debut at Racing Tauranga in Race 3 over 1200m. A bit of a trip for his first raceday outing but will benefit from the experience. Has showed promise in trials and jumpouts and will appreciate good footing. To be ridden by Joe Doyle for owner Scott Carsons ☘️

A good day at the trials with two of our 3YO boys including Full Voltage (Shocking gelding) ⚡️who won his 800m heat with ease, and Sneaky Duck (Sneaking to Win gelding) who was a nice second. 🐥

We head to the races tomorrow at Tauranga with last start winner Poppa Dennis (Race 3), plus Madiran and Eddie’s Dream hoping to get a start in Race 8. ☘️☘️

A special win on our hometrack by the gorgeous Poppa Dennis today in the Haunui Farm Maiden 1200m, ridden by Elen Nicholas 🩶🥇

Purchased by Mike as a weanling on gavelhouse.com from Haunui Farm, and named after Jaimee’s 97-years young Poppa. 💖☘️

Thanks to our team - from his early education through to his first win at start five. We think Dennis is pretty proud of his performance today 😁👉

Racing for his late owner Rosaleen Carson, who sadly passed away earlier this month, we hope her lovely boy Dez can go one better than his last two start seconds. 🕊️
To be ridden again by Elen Nicholas from barrier 7.

Tauranga Race 8 - Madiran (Port)
One race later Port lines up over further distance and with a 4kg claim by apprentice Sage Duric for owner Sharon Harris-Scoble.

Very proud of Golden Path who continues his winning ways in Australia. We purchased ‘Red’ at New Zealand Bloodstock from Ardsley Stud and privately sold him after winning two trials. 💚☘️

Golden Path flew home to claim the Ronald McDonald House Charities Trophy (1700m). Given a perfectly timed ride by jockey Blake Shinn, the gelding recorded his sixth victory from 19 starts. Bred by the Wallace family’s Ardsley Stud, Golden Path was purchased for $35,000 from the 2021 New Zealand Bloodstock Book 2 Yearling Sale by Pukekohe trainer Michael Rogers. After winning two of his three trials in New Zealand for Rogers, he was privately sold and moved to the Price-Kent stable.
