Hey all :) its been a while since I've posted! Life gets busy and so do we. So heres where we are at:

Unfortunately I was unable to catch the tortie before she had her kittens. She has been coming twice a day for food and will very soon bring her babies with her. Until then, its a waiting game. I cant yet get her des*xed as her kittens will not be old enough to be left on their own so once things fall into place, we will get her and the babies sorted πŸ’š

Beautiful Tux became a much loved family member and on of the best cat babies we've had. Unfortunately Tux didnt come home one night and despite looking for days and weeks, we havent seen him since. For those of you who have followed our story, cats have previously and recently been shot around our property. Hence why im trying to rehome all these babies. We have our suspicions about what happened to Tux but we cant prove it. My heart breaks for these cats getting treated like a sport round this area.

Knox has made himself quite at home with us and now rules the roost (at least he thinks he does) and fluffy has learnt to clean all the iddy-bids out his tail properly so he doesnt need to be groomed πŸ˜‚

There is a new Tom whos shown up. Big ginger boy who is gentle in nature, timid and despite being naturally large, he is very skinny and looks like hes had a fairly hard life thus far. He always comes last for food and is disliked by the other cats so once they have eaten, i shoo them away to give him space to relax. He seems comfortable in my space periodically so i shall give him time and look after him from afar. Des*xing soon.

Thank you to all who have, and continue to support me helping these babies. It means the world. So to yours from mine, Merry Christmas and a happy new year 🩡 stay safe, tell people you them, and eat drink and be merry!

Love,
Alex, George dog, and all of the furr babies

This handsome guy, knox, was a big smelly Tom not too long ago! He was des*xed around 2 months ago and is the absolute sweetest bean! He loves big smooches, is very vocal and is looking for his fur-ever home!

Knox is about 3 years old, he's become comfortable inside but is mainly an outside cat- purely because he's been a stray for most of his life. Knox loves attention and is very food driven. He gets along with other cats from what I've experienced (we have 5 cats and 6 strays) which he is friends with for the most part. Know would make a great companion for anyone with the exception of young children as he can and will nibble if he gets annoyed.

If you want to give knox his forever home, please get at me! He is des*xed, flead and wormed and he wants to be yours!!

Please help!

Today our beautiful boy Tux had xrays and it was determined that Tuxs' right shoulder, elbow and paw are broken, and his elbow on the left. Unfortunately it has healed this way and is minimally functional. His left side will likely need ongoing treatment when he is older, and we are looking into amputation of his right leg ($1200) pending how he goes. Please please if you can contribute to Tuxs' funds, we can give him the best chance at a great life and find his forever home x

Well, wee Tux. Look at you! Tuxs' leg still bothers him and he limps but its looking good. His wound has cleared right up and healed over and he's starting to use it a lot more. He has finally come out of his shell and is interacting with our other kitten Jeff who has taught him how to play, and look at him go!! Tux will be des*xed next week and once he's all healed, he will be up for adoption!

Only 4 babies for tea tonight, none of them mine 🀣 fuffy and knox are regulars- the two gingers at the front. They have both been des*xed and released. Knox would make an amazing family member but fluffy will likely be a forever cat as he is very flighty. The black and white boy is here every day though he's very well looked after so i assume he's someones. Such a cutie.

The black cat at the back is a slinky malinky boy who is yet to be des*xed, and the black girl in front of him is currently pregnant. Ive had no luck catching her as she is extremly aware of the trap and will avoid it at all costs, so, other options will be explored! On the upside, Tux has recovered from his flu, has his own wee corner now and a tonne of toys next to that... hes even playing now! πŸ§‘πŸ’›πŸ§‘ if you'd like to help with food costs, flea and worm treatments, or des*xing, please visit my give a little x

Tux is feeling a little better and getting over his cat flu (yay!) He has started to play and interact with the other cats which is amazing but is still struggling to walk/weight bear on that leg and is not a super happy chappy. The vet would like to xray his leg next week to check for arthritic sepsis from his bite wounds which will put a dent in the wallet for sure. Please if you can spare even $5 to help this little kitty heal on his journey to find a forever home, you can donate here: https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/bop-des*xing-and-rehoming

This is knox. We aren't sure of knox's story, or even exactly when he showed up. I have been feeding knox about 8 months after he showed up out if the blue one day and never left. He dissapears during the days but is back morning and night for tea and pats. Knox was des*xed a week ago and the vet thinks he is only few years old. This boy has biiiig jowls and a squishy face making for the best snuggling. Knox hasnt been tried inside but has the best personality... he us the sweetest boy and will make an amazing addition to any family πŸ₯°πŸ₯°

This sweet baby boy is Tux. Tux was first seen about 6 weeks ago with another kitten. He was limping and unable to bear weight on his right front leg. I finally caught him last week and was completely shocked to see what i (initially) thought was a bullet hole in his leg with a stick poking out of it.

After a trip to the vet and a thorough exam, Tux had parts of his leg shaved which showed some pretty severe bite wounds from a larger cat on various parts of his leg. These are still a bit weepy but healing well. Tux has a pretty bad case of cat flu too which has become worse over the last 2 days so another trip to the vet this morning and he is now on antibiotics, and anti-inflammatories, as well as eye drops a few times a day. Today was the first time i was able to pat him without him hissing at me. Beautiful Tux deserves better than this. As soon as hes all healed, we will be looking for his forever home 🩡
Please feel free to donate to my givealittle page, vet bills are costly and every bit helps x

So. Turns out Eddie and Chester are actually girls πŸ€£πŸ˜…. Serves me right for not checking their s*x first, though they were pretty spicey and gingers are almost always boys (only 20% of gingers are female!) So what a suprise! Anyway, one of the vet nurses fell absolutely in love with "Eddie". How could you not? Look at that floofiness! So Eddie is going to her new home today. Very happy, and excited to get updates on how shes doing. We still have beautiful "Chester" at home, who we have now renamed pumpkin and are looking forward to socialising her and finding her the perfect family!❀️❀️❀️

All my life I have been like a magnet to animals. Over the years, I have rescued, fostered and owned dogs, hedgehogs, cats, fish, ducks, birds, frogs, and calves. My love however, its cats. I currently have 4 cats of my own and although Id like to love every single one I rescue, I'm at cat-pacity! My oldest girl is 16 now, and my youngest is 7 months. All were rescues.

About 14 years ago, I started feeding a colony of stray/ wild cats that were living down at johns produce in oropi. Although I was helping by feeding them, I realised it wasnt enough. The kittens were having kittens... then those kittens were having kittens... it was a never ending issue and all I could see was starvation and disease. So I decided to help make a bigger difference. Over the years, where and when I can, I have cared for, des*xed, and rehomed over 40 cats and kittens.

Over the last week, I have des*xed and rehomed 6. I have 3 beautiful kittens currently, one who is healing from some nasty bite wounds who needs lots of antibiotics, rest and love. I'm greatful to be able to provide a safe place for him to recover❀️

It is, and continues to be a journey. Its not all rainbows and cupcakes. Sometimes its sadness, anger and grief. But all the same, I love what I do, and thank everybody who helps me continue to do what I'm doing

Thank you!!!
