Today’s class of superstars officially brings us to **50 dogs trained in just ONE year**! 🌟🐶✨
My heart is honestly overflowing — the love, support, and trust from Auckland’s amazing dog community has been everything. Every single pup I met this year was a *good dog*… the absolute best kind of good. 💛

Our private-session pups have officially blossomed — stepping into spring with flawless walks, short recalls, and beach-ready manners! 🐾🌊

They came in wiggly and curious… and now they’re strutting out with better control, calmer handling, and the happiest little bonds with their humans.

Let’s celebrate with joy while being kind to pets, babies, livestock, and our neighbors — loud noises can be terrifying for them.

🎇 Choose low-noise fireworks that everyone can enjoy.
🧹 Clean up afterward — keep our streets and environment safe.

🐶 Pet parents:
• Keep your pets indoors with you.
• Create a safe, quiet space.
• Play TV or calming music to mask the noise.

🌸 Spring Allergies & Reverse Sneezing in Dogs 🌸

As the flowers bloom, pollen doesn’t just tickle our noses—it can affect our dogs too! One common reaction is something called reverse sneezing.

💡 Why it happens:
Reverse sneezing is your dog’s way of trying to clear irritants like pollen, dust, or even excitement from their nasal passages. Think of it like a doggie “reset button” for their nose.

✨ How to help your dog:
If your dog has a reverse sneezing episode:

Gently place your hand over their mouth.

Close one nostril with your finger and slowly count to 10.

Switch to the other nostril and count to 10.

Repeat 3–4 times if needed.

This simple technique helps reset the nasal passage and usually calms things down quickly.

💚 Always remember—reverse sneezing is usually harmless, but if it’s happening too often or your dog seems distressed, check in with your vet.

We’ve all heard it: “Don’t worry, my dog’s friendly!”
But here’s the truth — being responsible for your dog means thinking beyond their confidence and curiosity.

Not every dog they meet is ready for a surprise “hello.”
👉 Some dogs are nervous.
👉 Some are working through reactivity.
👉 Some are in training to build trust and confidence with their people.

When a friendly but uncontrolled dog rushes up, it can undo weeks of progress. The nervous dog loses confidence, the owner loses trust, and the cycle of fear begins again.

✅ Let your dog explore.
✅ Let them grow in confidence.
❌ But don’t let “friendly” become an excuse to ignore boundaries.

Being responsible off-leash means making sure your dog’s freedom doesn’t become another dog’s setback.
