Espresso Martini and Spicy Margarita’s story began when their brave mum appeared in a backyard, desperately scavenging for food and even resorting to eating fallen ripe avocados to survive. A few weeks later, she reappeared – this time with a litter of wide-eyed kittens trotting close behind her.

By the time these boys were first noticed, they were already around 16 weeks old and blowing our mind with just how fun and loving they are! The little angels set each other off in a roaring purr and play like crazy!

☕ Espresso Martini (sleek black coat) is the ultimate lap cat in training. He purrs like a little engine, melts into your arms, belly rubs are his weakness and flops completely when picked up – a total sweetheart. Videos in comments

🌶️ Spicy Margarita (handsome tabby) a little more resverved but once he has a monent to suss you out he in love – belly rubs are his secret weakness and will roll over for more.

Both boys are playful, curious, and full of energy. With time, love, and a calm home environment, they are going to make the most wonderful companions.

Brave, bubbly and beautiful, Benny Blanco is a true survivor, spending nearly two months on the streets before a kind family contacted a rescue. Around four months old, Benny is small for his age, but he is strong and healthy and his purrs are loud!

He starts purring as soon as you pick him up and he loves to nestle in his fosterer's neck for cuddles.

Not shy with other cats, Benny has been in an enclosure in the family room, with five owned cats strolling past him. He is very calm and has already made friends with Sonny Bill, the ginger ninja in the photo. Benny is partial to a bit of reality TV and is eagerly anticipating the final of Married at First Sight. He is initially shy with people, but soon warms up.

With a beautiful long coat, and mostly white in colour, Benny is one handsome man. He has unique black marking on his head and tail. He is an absolute delight and deserves an amazing forever home.

Morning all! Desperately needing some help

This year has been especially tough for the Glen Innes Cat Campaign (GICC). Due to a mild winter, last year’s kitten season never truly ended, and this year’s has brought an overwhelming number of sick, malnourished kittens and teen cats into our care. 😭

Our limited resources have forced us to place many cats into larger, already overstretched rescues, but the vet bills keep piling up. Right now, we are working on a heartbreaking case involving 9 cats:
• A struggling injured - but fiercely protective mumma cat and her 3 adult offspring one with a suspected broken paw.
• 3 five-month-old kittens - flea infested and so malnourished all you could feel was bones when picking them up
• 2 five-week-old kittens - one so sick and fragile, all skin and bones who spent the first days in care being syringe fed as he was so weak.

All are emaciated, riddled with fleas, infected wounds, and one has a severe paw injury from fighting. It’s one of the worst cases we’ve ever encountered.

We’re doing everything we can to rescue, treat, and rehabilitate these cats, but we can’t do it without your help. Every donation, big or small, helps us provide life-saving care and continue our education efforts to prevent these situations in the future.

Bazel 💙🫶🏼🩵 ADOPTED!!

This 6 month old little cutie is very cheeky and super smoochie! He is still a little on the timid side but loves being held, snuggled and will run to you for affection once bonded and gained your trust.
He is such a playful little chap promising to provide you with endless hours of entertainment while you watch on telling him he is a clever boooooy!!

He would be ok with a non reactive quieter dog.
No Busy roads Must be brought in before dark for the night . Or be an indoor plus catio cat.

Due to him being a long Floofy little stud muffin, Grooming is required several times a week, so must understand maintenance.

Homeowners are preferred but renters will be required to show tenancy of pets allowed.

Malibu – aka White Queen
This gorgeous girl is in need of her forever home. Not just any forever home – but THE forever home. Malibu is an Albino Ragdoll. She is completely deaf and possibly has some mild visual impairments, but other than that is in perfect health.
This Queen is the ultimate diva. She is a true smooch, very confident and loves nothing more than to plonk herself down and snuggle into you. She purrs like the Goddess she is. But Malibu comes with some quirks – You can thank me later for allowing her the time to express them ALL.
White Queen spent 4.5 years living her best life on a farm up in Matakana, she enjoyed freedom of the outdoors surrounded by other Cats, dogs, chickens, sheep and children... However – since moving into the big City, she has decided in fact she likes none of the above and will need to be the loner ruler of her Castle.
Sadly her family was unable to keep her due to some devastating personal events, and this beauty was rehomed. The family she went to did not understand her and was not willing to adjust or accommodate her needs and just wanted her gone. Sadly it has taken a long time to understand what the issues were and why they didn’t want her, but after some lengthy discussions with the original owners – we have worked a few things out.
White Queen also was bought up on a relatively raw diet, chicken, mince, tuna and eggs, so imagine the fun (frustrating and confusing) challenge of offering her EVERY possible commercial wet food on the market and being utterly perplexed as to why she wasn’t eating anything!! Well – you can retake the challenge if you wish or you can thank me for my duties in uncovering her fine dining preferences and stick to what we know!!
White Queen MUST be an inside cat, she is very content now with being an inside cat. Being deaf she is unable to hear things that are potentially dangerous such as cars and other animal. However she is used to majestic walks on a harness. Have not yet tried this adventure– needed to leave something exciting for her new family, and it totally optional.
Being a deaf cat, this glorious creature has developed a little sass. She does occasionally get a little frustrated, potentially from boredom of being with me in my office all day (thankfully she can’t hear all my meetings as this would make anyone lose their mind), But there are a few signs to keep an eye out for – you can thank me for that one later too – it is fleeting and will often be her quirky way of letting you know she needs some fun and interaction.
In Summary in case you got lost in all her fabulousness – her ideal home needs to be Safe for her to roam and not go outside, have no other animals or young children, have understanding owners that will cater to her few but specific needs, and love her madly like we do!

Mr Colby Jack and Miss Cheddar!

YES!! We have a ginger GIRL, that’s special in itself as genetically Gingers are more likely to be boys!! These two little bonded siblings really are so sweet but they come with a disclaimer!
These little cheesy delights have been on a journey of trust! Rescued at around the 10 week mark they have proven to be really reluctant to accept humans just want to love them so need to be chosen by a family that will understand their journey isn’t over yet! A family who will help them trust and one that will give them the unconditional love they deserve.
Mr Colby Jack is so much fun, loves to play, is obsessed with chasing the laser, purrs like a machine, is super smoochy- on his terms and LOVES his food especially catnip treats- he unapologetically will love you more for treats!!
Miss Cheddar is very very timid, she has the most velvety soft fur and once you get her in your arms she melts into a floppy love bug and purrs happily. Cheddar loves to play and will turn into a little nutcase when the laser is pulled out!

Not suitable for a family with very young children as they are very easily startled.

Update… we prayed for a miracle and we got one! Thank you to one of our incredible followers who reached out and has ADOPTED the darling Brie. Knowing she is going to have a long journey ahead, knowing she has had a really rough and abusive life this far. Brie is so incredibly lucky!

URGENT SHORT TERM (or forever family) FOSTER NEEDED - please read all info.
If a foster is not found for Brie- sadly her only option is to be returned to where she was rescued.
Brie is a darling young adult cat who has the potential to become a wonderful forever cat for someone special.
Brie has had a very rough start to life, bringing 3+ litters of kittens into the world in her short life. Brie is very timid and is in need of a foster family who will allow her to become her true self.
Foster family will need to not have any other pets, allow Brie to initially have a safe room in the house to adjust - and then be allowed to roam safely and securely indoors only. Brie is ok to be alone during work/school hours, but needs to have gentle interactions when the family is home to enable her to trust humans. Please message if you think you would be able to give Brie a chance at becoming fabulous!
Other option could be a foster to adopt, Maybe you're looking for a beautiful new addition but want to skip the crazy kitten stage. Brie will become a gorgeous companion, and if you have the time, love and patients to gift this beauty a chance - she may just be the one for you!
