A few of the pups we've had in lately! 🐶💕

Only a few photos this time, as we're usually so busy that I forget to take pictures!

Now that the weather is getting a lot colder, we completely understand wanting to keep your pups a little fluffier and warmer. However, regular grooming is still important. We can certainly leave their coats a bit longer, but waiting too long between grooms can lead to matting, which may result in your pup needing a shorter shave than you'd like. 🐾💚

It's been lovely seeing all the dogs coming in happy and cosy in their little jackets lately! 🥰

A few of the cuties we’ve had in recently 🐾💚

Just a reminder about coat maintenance — regular brushing is essential for every dog, regardless of coat type or grooming style. Whether your pup is long coated, medium coated , or is kept short, daily brushing helps prevent matting and keeps them comfortable and healthy.

Matting can become uncomfortable and, in some cases, painful for dogs. Please note that I do charge a matting fee, where extra grooming time is required.

If you are brushing regularly but still finding your dog becomes matted, it may be due to using the wrong brush or brushing technique. I’m always happy to help — feel free to flick me a message or ask after your pups appointment. I can recommend suitable brushes and show you the best techniques for maintaining your dog’s coat at home. 🙂💚

Available for dog owners in the Kaipara, Whangarei and Wellsford regions who *genuinely* need a helping hand with the cost.

Priority is given to medium–large dogs (bully breeds, farm dogs, shar pei, etc.).

* Small dogs and dogs from breeders aren’t covered, as we have limited funding are are focusing on the dogs overwhelming rescues.

Lots of shaved bodies and but still-cute faces at Jesse’s Groomers over the past few weeks! ☀️

This is because of warm weather (and a bit of matting) so a friendly reminder to brush your dogs, folks 🫵😁 Regular brushing keeps them comfy and helps avoid those surprise short trims!

We’ve snapped plenty of before photos without afters, after photos without befores… and let’s be honest, most days were so busy we forgot the camera altogether 📸😅

It’s also peak shedding season, so we’ve had a big surge in deshed appointments — and we’re loving the fluff explosions!

We’ve been super busy lately, so the posts haven’t been posting 😅We are closed from this Friday to Next Thursday. However, when we reopen we are aiming to post more frequently :)
