🧁💙 SPCA Cupcake Day is back — and Thames SPCA needs YOU! 💙🧁
SPCA’s most delicious fundraising event is returning for 2025, and this year we’re calling on our amazing Thames community to help us bake a difference for animals in need! 🐾
🍰 Here’s how you can get involved:
👩🍳 Be a baker!
We’re looking for local legends to bake cupcakes for Thames SPCA. We’ll be selling them outside the Thames SPCA Op Shop on Saturday 1 November, with every dollar raised going directly towards helping animals that are sick, injured, abandoned, or in need of care.
💙 Buy a cupcake (or three!)
Pop down on the day, grab a sweet treat, and show your support — every bite helps give animals a second chance at life.
🏫 Host your own fundraiser!
Whether you’re part of a school, workplace, church, retirement village, or community group — you can join in the fun too! Bake and sell cupcakes to raise funds for Thames SPCA and help protect Aotearoa’s most vulnerable animals.
🎁 Sign up online and you could win amazing prizes!
If you register and fundraise through the official website, you’ll be in to win some incredible goodies — from limited-edition aprons and tea towels, to a KitchenAid Stand Mixer, a baker’s dream hamper from Milly’s Kitchen, or even a Bluebells Cakery office morning tea!
Can’t bake? No worries! You can still join in by donating to a friend’s fundraiser or creating your own fundraising page at 👉 www.spcacupcakeday.co.nz
🗓️ The official SPCA Cupcake Day is Wednesday 29 October, but you can hold your event anytime that suits before Friday 14 November. SPCA’s website even has recipes, baking tips, and “pupcakes” for your furry friends so everyone can get involved! 🐶🧁
