This is Holly, a 13-year-old Shi-tzu Maltese mix. She came to us today for a gentle groom. Whilst she was a bit apprehensive at first, she settled down quite nicely, and happily let us tidy her up.

Photo on the outdoor table is the “before”, and photo on the grass is the “after”.

Yoiks! Such hairy feet!! This one needs a trim ASAP as that excess fur will attract dirt and other things like a magnet....

How do you show your furry friends you truly care?
By keeping them happy and healthy with:
• plenty of exercise
• a tasty, balanced diet
• regular brush-outs

And why brush-outs?
Because they swipe away loose hair and dirt, stop tangles before they start, spread those good natural oils, and help you spot any sneaky skin or parasite issues. They keep your pup looking fresh and your home a little less furry.

A: Yes. For visual proof, here’s a photo of me, at age 3 (probably), with my yaya (nanny) in massive curlers (it was the in thing back then), and either Peewee or Dinky - one of the two GSD we had as pets.

Mum told me that i considered them as siblings. I was being interviewed for prep-school and i told the interviewer i had a sister and a brother. They had to clarify this with my parents and when they gave the names of my “siblings” my parents just laughed and explained that those are the names of our dogs.

This here, is Little Miss Messy (also not her real name), Mr Magoo’s little “sister”. She’s a proper doggy-dog. She loves to crawl in the underbrush, and cannot resist jumping into any pool of water (dirty or otherwise). She is practically always moist and has twigs and other things sticking to her under belly. We got into dog grooming because of her proclivities.

Both of them are gorgeous though. They can be a pain in the backside, but they are gorgeous.

Kia ora, and welcome to Pawtners in Grime!

I’m Bunny, one half of the dynamic duo behind this paw-some little enterprise. The other half is my better half, and he prefers to work his magic behind the scenes, keeping things running smoothly—so you’ll only be seeing me popping up on social media!

Anyway, with me in the photo is our gorgeous boy, Mr Magoo (not his real name), and he’s half the reason we decided to venture into dog grooming.
