A few snaps of the beautiful dogs and their humans I’ve had the pleasure of working with recently — plus my own little spicy storm, Zen aka Zany Zenni 🐾😂

Every dog and family is different, and that’s what I love most. Watching relationships grow, confidence build, and helping owners understand their dogs better is incredibly rewarding.

Thank you to all the amazing owners who trust me and put in the work between sessions ➡️ you’re the reason the results happen 🙌🏼

And then there’s Zenni, my 5½-month-old American Bulldog, who keeps me on my toes, challenges me daily, and gives me plenty of chances to practise what I preach 😂🤍

So grateful for every dog, every owner, and every journey I get to be part of.

🙏🏽❤️

DOGS EATING GRASS: SHOULD YOU WORRY? 🐶👇

As The Puppy Coach, one of the most common questions I get is:

“Why is my dog eating grass? Are they sick?” 👀

Let’s clear up a few myths…

❌ MYTH: They’re eating grass because they’re sick.
❌ MYTH: They must be lacking something in their diet.
❌ MYTH: Eating grass is automatically a problem.

✅ FACT: Many dogs simply enjoy grazing.
✅ FACT: For most healthy dogs, occasional grass eating is completely normal behaviour.
✅ FACT: Dogs explore the world through their mouths, and grass can be interesting, tasty and rewarding!

🚩 BUT I always tell my clients to watch for changes.

If your dog suddenly starts eating large amounts of grass, is repeatedly vomiting, has diarrhoea, seems uncomfortable, becomes lethargic or you notice a change in their usual behaviour, that’s when I’d be paying closer attention and speaking with your vet.

🌿 And always consider where they’re eating it. Avoid grass that may have been treated with chemicals or contaminated with other substances.

One of the biggest things I remind my clients is this:

Not every behaviour needs a problem attached to it.

Sometimes… your dog is just being a dog. 🐾❤️

Henri ❤️ the Rottie…. I started working with Henri when he was just 8 weeks old, and continued with him through to 18 months. He’s now 2½ years old, and we still catch up regularly with his humans, Debbie and family.

This is exactly why I love building a solid foundation from puppyhood. It’s not about having a perfectly obedient puppy overnight. It’s about giving them the skills, boundaries and communication they need to navigate the real world as they grow.

And watching that training still show up years later? That’s the good stuff.

Henri has grown into one amazing dog, and I’m pretty proud of this big guy. ❤️

Zenni revisiting the local gym — one month later. 🐾💪

Today was Monday, 10am, and the gym was absolutely buzzing — full car park, lots of people, different music, loud weights hitting the floor and plenty happening around us.

We took our time, moving through different areas, just sitting and observing. We even checked out the women’s locker room. 😆

A month later, Zenni was still curious, but noticeably calmer and more settled in this busy environment.

Little outings, lots of exposure, and letting her take it all in at her own pace. ❤️
