I’m a little behind on posting, but a few weeks ago I had the fantastic team from Clutha Vets Equine out for a busy day of dentals, castrations, and brandings.

It was great to get all of the horses’ annual dental checks done. Everyone received a glowing report! Promise had her very first dental and even had a wolf tooth removed, so she’s all set for when the bit is introduced. Shakira, as always, impressed the vets with her teeth, which are in exceptional condition for her age.

I’ve built a wonderful relationship with Clutha Vets Equine over the years and am proud to be able to support training days of their veterinarians. Whether it’s castrations, branding, AI, or scanning, I enjoy providing opportunities for hands-on learning and helping the next generation of equine vets gain valuable experience.

A huge thank you to the team for their professionalism, knowledge, and care. It's always a pleasure having you here!

Today we drove Atlas to his new home with Halcyon Amoore as a companion, he travelled so well! Absolutely proud of him. Best of luck to his new owners and to many adventures ahead 💙

Some of you may have seen our Adelaide up for sale on Facebook etc. it feels only right to explain why this is happening. Sadly I’ve develop an allergic reaction to adelaide. Every horse produces saliva, dander, and just like a fingerprint everyone different and for some reason by body can’t handle it. I’m already battling with two other allergies so a third one is not good.

I’m absolutely gutted but she deserves the best and it’s not fair for her to be wasting in the paddock

From the moment Evie was born I was in love with her, her behaviour, temperament and looks caught my eye straight away. So friendly from the get go. I kept tossing with the idea of keeping her but also told myself no I need the money. After a lot of back and forwards and trusting my gut I have decided that Evie will be retained her at Westwind Stud. We don’t know what the future holds she may come on the market or she may not but for now we will keep her🩷
