🐾 Little dog, big personality! Meet Leo 🐾

Leo might be small and cute, but don't let that fool you! This little Maltese has been working hard, learning new skills and building the foundations to become a well-rounded little companion. 🐶

Today, Leo graduated from the Grounded Canines Puppy Programme, and we're so proud of the progress he and his family have made along the way.

Puppyhood is about more than just being cute. It's about building confidence, learning boundaries, developing good habits and setting our dogs up for success as they grow.

Congratulations, Leo! 🎓 You've earned those graduation treats!

Sam ✅️

He is the biggest snuggle bug you'll find!! Sam is a recent addition to his family and they're providing him one awesome life and setting him up for a great start in a new place. Sam has a few quirks that need ironing out before he joins the pack, but he's a fun pleasure to have!!

P.s. I'm not sure whats up with Coal's Gangsta face it was in all of today's photos! 🤣

🖤 Black Dog Day 🖤

A little appreciation post for some of the beautiful black dogs who have been part of our world over the years.

Many of you know that alongside Grounded Canines, we foster and work with Animal Services Hutt City and their adoption dogs, as well as Nightrave Greyhounds, helping dogs as they find their next chapter.

And then there’s Coal — our own black dog — who somehow manages to feature in just about everything we do

From foster dogs to pack dogs, these are just some of the black dogs who have crossed our path. Each one completely different, with their own personality, quirks and story and each dog a whole lot of fun!! -you could say we have a thing for black dogs here!

Black dogs deserve to be seen, known and loved just as much as any other dog. 🐾🖤
