IAMTHECAPTAINNOW - Form seems to have tailed off and runs have been below par. Will get a soft run from the draw but improvement needed.

SEASIDE POND - Going better than form suggests. Tidy field but will be able to get handy early from front row draw and enjoys standing starts.

IAMTHECAPTIANNOW was unlucky last start. Nice enough draw to land handy and ideally be on the speed throughout.

A great run from PINSEEKER at Nelson after been wide a long way from home. Finds another suitable race for him tonight and looks a strong chance.

SEASIDE POND has put in nice efforts since winning just over a month ago. Looks a good draw to enjoy a nice run along the pegs.

Late in the day hit hopefully MIKI BROWN can make it worth the wait! 🤞

After winning the first day at Nelson, Paddy got a bit lost dropping back to a mile on day 2. His work has been great since and will appreciate getting back out to the 2400m today!

Back for round two today!

After a dominant win on Day 1, MIKI BROWN steps up in grade and comes up against SEASIDE POND. It’s his first run out of maidens, but we’re confident he’ll handle the rise in class.
SEASIDE POND did plenty right on Friday and will strip fitter for the run, so we’re expecting an improved performance today.

PINSEEKER lines up for his first start at Richmond Racecourse in the Nelson Pine Industry Nelson Classic. He was excellent last time out and this short-course mobile looks another nice fit. A strong field of quality pacers, but Ernie feels spot-on heading into it 👌
