HELLO! It has been a while........
August and September have been busy months for Sniffari Tours, but not in the way you think:
SHERYLL took a few weeks off to head to the South Island with a bunch of her own dogs to participate in her club Distance event.
Travelling with 13 dogs always brings its own set of challenges, but not enough to deter her from bringing a new addition home (more about that later).
DAISY has been alternating between vacations of her own and preparing for the Summer ahead. She eagerly awaited her new human brother in between trying on fashion for the season ahead.
ROCKO spent a few weeks travelling as the cheerleader for a Sled Dog Team. What he lacks in expertise he makes up for in enthusiasm. He is always an easy companion to travel with as long as he is in the dog trailer -it is preferable to the ringing ears he will leave you with.
LUCY has been out and about shopping for new apparel. She is sporting a fancy new collar and is most chuffed about it. Her romance with Ozzy is still going strong.
RUBY spent her down time dreaming of the perfect river stone and wasted no time mucking about once the Sniffaris started back up. Her mission is ongoing, but the stones are plentiful.
OZZY is still the heartthrob of the group and enjoys the attention the ladies give him. His relationship with Lucy remains solid, although there is a new girl on the block!
BOWIE is no longer a baby and has joined our active group. It is hard to believe this lad started with us at 4 months old and is now well and truly over 30kg. No more Nursery for him!
ELSA has recently joined the active group and she is a fun addition. Such a happy girl, there have been some sneaky glances from Ozzy. Perhaps a love triangle is about to start??
TORCH went to the Sled Dog Distance event and lead (along with his sister Daisy) his team of 7 around the trails. This was his last event, and he has now hung up his harness at 13 years old. As always, he was fabulous.
CHEVIE was supposed to also participate in the event on the team with Torch but ended up with a shoulder injury. She instead spent time relaxing and met her 3 grandchildren while she was at the event. She was not terribly enthusiastic about the fact we brought one (Pfenn) home.
POPPY & CHIA are still smart and sassy. They have been out and about making sure their kingdom is as it should be. They were the first to meet the new addition, but sadly he was found lacking.....
ABBY & JACK are as sweet and happy as ever. The dynamic duo love to head out on an adventure and are a delight.
And last but definitely not least........................
Introducing PFENN!
This lad is Sheryll's latest addition and new Sniffari nursery member.
He is an amazing little lad, taking everything in his stride. From long days driving, ferry rides, copious amounts of dog relatives and endless amounts of people, Pfenn has kept his cool, calm demeanor. He is very sweet, and we are excited to see if he can grow into his ears.......
