Introducing Cooperative Care Consults!

The goal of Cooperative Care is to make your pet an active, willing participant in handling, restraint and medical procedures.

Consults can cover a range of common handling and healthcare challenges from medicating ears to grooming and nail clipping.

Cooperative care consults will build a tailored plan to you and your pet’s specific needs and help you understand your pets behaviour and what they are telling you. Gradually progressing towards your end goal whether thats applying eye drops without struggle or calmly walking into the clinic.

Bird Flu has now been detected in NZ. It is a highly contagious viral disease that can affect wild and domestic birds as well as be transmitted to mammals including people and pets.

Our team will continue to triage calls regarding pet birds and possible bird flu contact to ensure patient welfare and safety.
