SOURCE A HORSE IS GETTING A MAKEOVER! 💙

If you've been following PinOaks Park for a while, you'll know that Source A Horse has been part of our website sales for some years now, helping connect Thoroughbreds with their next homes.

Well, we've been busy behind the scenes giving it a rather exciting upgrade!

We're giving Source A Horse a major upgrade, expanding it into a dedicated online Thoroughbred marketplace with more features to make advertising, browsing and finding horses easier than ever!

Previously, Source A Horse has showcased our own PinOaks Park horses, but we're now opening it up to Thoroughbred owners, trainers and retrainers across New Zealand to advertise their horses too.

We're so often asked, "Can you help advertise my horse?" Well, now we can.

Whether you're looking to find your Thoroughbred a new home or searching for your next equine partner, Source A Horse is being designed to bring buyers and sellers together in one dedicated place.

Whether you're a racing trainer, breeder, owner, re-trainer or private owner looking to advertise a Thoroughbred, there will be three listing options available:

🐴 STANDARD LISTING — $30 + GST
A 30 day listing on the Source A Horse website, plus your horse shared to our dedicated Source A Horse Facebook group.

⭐ FEATURED LISTING — $79 + GST
A featured listing on the website for 30 days, plus promotion through the PinOaks Park page.

💛 MANAGED LISTING — $300 + GST
For those who would prefer us to take care of the advertising process, including promotion through both the PinOaks Park page and Source A Horse group.

🔎 FOR BUYERS

The upgraded marketplace will include improved search filters, allowing you to browse Thoroughbreds by height, age, location, price and more.

And of course, PinOaks Park will continue offering our Transition Assessments, retraining, rehabilitation and rehoming services alongside Source A Horse.

WE'VE ALSO CREATED A DEDICATED FACEBOOK GROUP! 🎉

As part of the upgrade, we've set up a Source A Horse Facebook group where marketplace listings will be shared.

Whether you're actively looking for your next Thoroughbred, have one to advertise, or simply enjoy keeping an eye on what's available, we'd love you to join us!

We're still finalising the upgraded website, but we're looking forward to sharing it with you soon!

🐎 RIDER'S RUNDOWN | DAY 3 – JOE 💙

Oh Joe, you're starting to give us plenty to get excited about! 😍

Three rides in, and the improvement we're seeing in this big fellow's flatwork is just fantastic.

If you've been following his journey, you'll know he arrived with quite a lot to learn about working in a contact, finding his balance and understanding what we're asking of him.

And that's exactly why we love documenting these horses from the beginning!

Today, we're starting to see more and more glimpses of the lovely horse underneath. He's beginning to understand his new job, and the progress is really encouraging.

He's a big, handsome Thoroughbred with some lovely movement, and we genuinely think he could turn a few heads in the dressage arena or show ring with continued education and the right rider. ✨

Of course, he's still green, and there's plenty more work ahead, but that's all part of the journey.

It's incredibly rewarding watching the pieces start to come together. 💙

🎤 Listen to Jess's thoughts straight after today's ride in our latest Rider's Rundown!

We think someone's going to have a lot of fun with this boy!

📩 Interested in Joe? Get in touch with PinOaks Park to find out more.

Look at Joe go! ✨

How is this for ride 3.. Massive improvements, and he just tries really hard. He's going to turn a few heads in the future, and I could see him excel in the dressage or show ring.

He's lovely to ride, and sporthorse life is starting to come so naturally to him. You just can't beat a willing thoroughbred ❤️

Joe’s trying very hard to balance himself and work in the arena, it’s great to see the improvements from ride one to ride 3. This is after a month off prior to coming into us as well. Good boy Joe! 👏🏻

He’s travelled up from further down South and still holding onto that coat quite a bit. Couple more weeks and he’ll look a lot better 🤎
